First time at this Taco John’s for me, first Taco John’s ever for my wife and it didn’t disappoint. We did the $1.39 crunchy taco Tuesday that were well filled and very good. Bought some bean burritos that were good as well. We’ll be back. Customer service here is awsome. Very clean restaurant very well maintained. Hope they keep that Taco Tuesday going a long time.

Had an overall good experience for our first time here. Food was decent. Lots of sauce options. The nachos cheese with the potatoes was good. Their ranch is lacking though. My wife doesn’t like the little hash browns, but I do. So it worked out. They forgot one taco and I had to go back inside to grab it. It took them about 4 minutes of me standing at the front counter to be acknowledged. They did fix it though.

We have eaten at Taco John’s all over the country, Fort Lewis, WA to Fort Gordon, GA. It’s a home town favorite of ours, being from Cheyenne, WY. We were happy to have it in the town we settled down in, here in Manhattan. But I have to say the service today was not present. We walked in, stood there at the counter, and left. No one acknowledged us even after several of the workers looked at us.
Too bad.

The person at the register looked like he hated his life and acted like it as well. It was an inconvenience to do his job of pushing buttons and taking orders. WHILE you can hate your life… you at least try and cover it up like every other retail employee
He acted like it was the end of the world when I ordered a cold brew.
We paid 26$ for 6 tacos and they all came like the picture. I didn’t get my cold brew either. I waited assuming they would be busy. It wasn’t until we were ready to leave my husband went up and asked for it AGAIN. Things happen, but it hindered the experience.
We agreed we would never go back and we stuck with it.

Fast Mexican, really it’s much like Taco Bell, except you can sit and have a meal inside, and the drive through is faster here. It would be really a benefit if they went back to their salsa bar, huge amounts of plastic package waste from the sauces and ketchup. The specials change and they have some new twists to things on the menu. The regular taco has more filling than the comparable taco at the bell. The only thing is getting used to the potato rounds being in most dishes. I would say that the breakfast is really good as well, they just don’t open early enough to do me any good except on the weekend.
Update:
New menu item the Spicy Steak and Potato Griller is very tasty, is not spicy at all. Just order a couple of them, it’s not a burrito, more like a little square, about half of a chimichanga. See new pic.

Standard tacos/food. Service is mixed- the drive thru crew is always top notch, the counter staff we have had have been a bit lost in the sauce haha

Worse food ever, I got a taco salad, and all I had was about half a cup of meat, such a disappointment. The whole thing was all lettuce. Get your money’s worth. Go to Taco Bell.
