For what it was, it’s a good spot to eat. If you’re expecting a deep melting pot of exotic flavour,, I suggest passing this one up. I had chicken with cashew and my partner had pad Thai. Both were tasty – the pad Thai was a little stodgy, but nothing that would put me off – and the chicken with cashew was plain, with fresh vegetables, a generous portion of cashews and so hot, it may have been cooked on the sun. The rice was good, but obviously dished up in a hurry – not a perfectly formed dome, but rather more like a kid’s sandcastle on a dry beach. This didn’t affect the taste and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It would be like a (healthy) fastfood sit down experience.

Everything was great. The menu has a lot of choices and bright photos of each dish is displayed on the wall for easy selection. Our orders arrived quickly and was fresh, hot and delicious. The service was efficient & friendly. Prices are very reasonable – it was less than $100 for five adults. They provide free doggie bag containers. The only comment I would make is the decor and furniture is rather basic and doesn’t do the atmosphere any favours. Adding table cloths, a little foliage, and background music would be beneficial. We’ll be return customers in any case. Thank you Thai House.

Great place, food was delicious and onky took 10 mins to come to our table. Fresh veges, lots of flavour amd good amoubt of chicke. in both dishes. We also had chicken satay amd stuffed mushrooms alongside Pad thai amd red curry- all great. Friendly staff, nice modern, clean decor. We will come hwre again when we are back in New Plymouth.

Was completely full so could only get takeaway. Food is great and the staff were helpful to make a dosh vegan. I got the fried noodles and they added tofu instead of eggs which was excellent. Decent serving size, though I could have a bit more.
