The new location is welcoming, spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food, best bbq in the area! We live in Heyworth, IL and we miss Famous Dave’s. Without a doubt delicious. Ive been here twice now, once at the old location and now the new location. The food is hot and fresh. I love the brisket and burnt ends. We love the spicy cauliflower for an app. My favorite part is the food is HOT! From the fries to the green beans, the sides arent just sides here! You wont be sad you checked it out.

Five stars – I just want to make sure that’s read first! My husband and I haven’t eaten BBQ in a while, so we decided to give a new spot a, and we adore the atmosphere and food here. If the warm welcome doesn’t make you want to stay, the smell of their cooking will, I guarantee it!!
Just as a starter, we got the sweet corn nuggets and the Saturday special (burnt ends, cornbread, and a side of jalapeño bacon mac n cheese). The corn nuggets were perfectly crispy and savory! The mango honey sauce added a sweet and refreshing aftertaste as well, so I loved it 🙂 I am not too sure if we had to choose between the chicken or burnt ends, but don’t let the portions fool you – the burnt ends are very filling and wonderfully flavored The cornbread is light and fluffy, and the mac n cheese is very “heavenly” in my husbands words . The bacon and jalapeño complement the macaroni very well and makes you want to take another bite while breaking a small sweat 100/10
Back to the welcoming environment, the service is amazing and everyone there is very kind. Even though we had takeout, the choose-your-own seating & design of the restaurant is relaxing, I love the decor! Granted, we checked out the place early in the day, so it wasn’t packed, but reasonably busy. I would not doubt it if it was super busy in the evening, it is such a great place to enjoy a bite and take more home for safekeeping! We didn’t try everything on the menu, but we can’t wait to try something else at another time! Thank you again for your beautiful food and lovely greetings!

Great food! the pulled pork was good and smoky and still juicy and tender. The mac and cheese was delicious. My favorite part was the sweet potato waffle fries! Very flavorful and crispy! Staff was very friendly! The old school video games is a fun touch!

I don’t usually leave restaurants 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but BC BBQ is an exception. They just relocated to Tremont on route 9 from their previous location in Pekin. Bc BBQ is located in the old Arts Inn right across from DG. Generous portion size with great tasting food. I had the classic BBQ sandwich with sauce, house chips and green beans full of flavor. The menu is very full of delicious options to choose from. My party members had the BBQ sandwich and salad bar options. There is a decent amount of seating with a bar area. What stood out to me is there is a video game area for the kids and adults . There is even a claw machine. Plus there was a TV on the wall with the NFL game playing. It checked all the boxes for me ✅. Seating is a little cramped. Only wish there were some windows to view out. Will be back to try more of their items. They already have a following and customers know their name. It’s nice to have another dining option in town. Welcome to Tremont!

In town visiting family after relocating to Texas eight years ago. They took me to BC BBQ for lunch today. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I had the rib tins, which I neglected to take a photo of, and they were cooked to perfection. I sampled my family’s meals, and again, very well prepared. The sides were spot on. Being lunch time and snowy, they were not very busy. Our fried pickle spear were out quick and delicious. The food was delivered a short and timely manner after receiving our appetizer. Meaning we had time to enjoy the appetizer. The food was perfect temperature and moist. It doesn’t really need sauce, but if that’s your thing, I did try a couple of their sauces and it complimented the food well. I only get in town every couple years, but will vist again when I come back.

The brisket alone is worth the visit ! The coleslaw was yummy, onion rings too. They moved into an existing building so I’m sure they will work on the atmosphere when time and budget allows. Do not hesitate to dine here !

Great dining experience at BC BBQ. Visiting Peoria in work trip, saw the reviews and decided to stop in. Tammy B was my server and was friendly, courteous, and professional. The Brisket, Mac and Cheese, and fresh ear of corn were outstanding.
Had to go to the park to walk it off.

First time trying BC BBQ and the Wife and I loved it! We can’t believe we waited so long to pop in. The food was great! The drinks were cold and fast and the service was excellent! Easy location to get too, easy parking. All around fantastic, we will be back again soon.

Awesome food! Great service, the server checked in on us regularly. The jalapeño cornbread bites were awesome – never had anything like that anywhere. Had the bbq burger as my meal and it was great… loved the fries as well! My husband also enjoyed his meal. Great kid’s meal options. Large portions for the price – left super stuffed!
