Top-notch pizza, indeed! ⭐️
• By far one of the most delicious pizzas I’ve tried. It was highly recommended by a lovely local couple I met at a coffee shop in Central Park.
• I usually choose sandwiches over pizza, but this one is absolutely worth it.
• Cheesy, melty, and perfectly toasted slice.
• Even better with chili flakes and extra grated cheese.
• Light, crunchy crust with a fresh tomato flavor.
• Staff are kind and quick to serve.
• Best to visit on early morning or late afternoon so there are less crowds.
• Will definitely be back to try other variants!

If you are there you have to try it once just to see what a NY slice is, but in general is not the best slice you can get. the bbQ chicken was the best slice…the peperoni one was to sweet and the plain slice isnt that good. coming for europe you will find oute that everything here tastes bland

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Slice, Great Vibes at Ray’s Pizza
Ray’s Pizza is a solid go-to spot for a quick and tasty bite in the city. I stopped by one evening and was immediately drawn in by the vibrant signage and bustling atmosphere. The staff were friendly and kept things moving smoothly, even with a steady stream of customers.
I tried a slice of pepperoni pizza with a twist—pesto sauce—and it was a pleasant surprise. The flavors were bold and well-balanced, and the crust had just the right amount of crisp. It’s clear they care about quality, even for a quick grab-and-go slice.
The only reason I’m holding back one star is that while the pizza was great, the overall experience could be elevated with a bit more seating or ambiance inside. That said, it’s a fantastic spot for a late-night snack or a casual bite while exploring the city.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving a classic New York slice with a little flair!

We ate here twice on our weekend trip. It’s in a very central location and while they get busy, there’s hardly any wait. We also managed to find seats inside both times we were there. I’m not too picky and love pizza in general but this was a really solid NY slice. No complaints and one slice fills you up!

I absolutely loved my experience at Ray’s Pizzas! I rated the food and service a solid 5 stars. Their pizzas are fantastic, but I was especially impressed by their sandwiches. The chicken burrata was a delightful surprise—fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, making our visit even better. I did rate the atmosphere a 4 stars because while it’s cozy, a little more ambiance would elevate the experience. Overall, I highly recommend this place for great food and warm service!

Best pizza I’ve had in NYC, and I’ve sampled around. Get an extra side of marinara to dunk if you’re into red sauce— theirs is really good.

Pizza was ok. Not the New York pizza I have always heard about. After picking up your food there is no service. If you need it, you go get it. That also includes cleaning your table. I would eat there again but with lower expectations.

Famous original rays pizza
If you just want a slice of pie and are in Times Square, you could do a lot worse than stopping at Rays. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the pizza is amazing. I will give you a heads up, however, the jalapeños are smoking hot! The pizza has a great smoked flavor and definitely among the best I have had. Great little place in the area to grab a bite. Order up a slice, fold it up, and get busy!

Famous Ray’s Pizza – Times Square

Famous Ray’s Pizza in Times Square is a solid stop for a quick bite in the heart of the city. They offer a huge variety of pizza slices—from classic cheese and pepperoni to spicy jalapeño and sausage combos. We also tried the meatballs, which were tasty and satisfying.

The menu goes beyond just pizza, with lots of other options to choose from, making it a great spot if you’re with a group or craving something different.

There’s indoor and outdoor seating available, though the space can get a bit messy—several tables were dirty and the trash cans were overflowing during our visit. That said, the place was very busy, clearly popular with a steady flow of hungry customers. Despite the rush, the staff stayed friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated.

Overall, a fast, flavorful option in a prime location, just be prepared for a bustling, no-frills experience.

Super slow. Nearly $8 for one slice of Margarita. The main part of the slice was separating from the crust. This would be better as a $1.50 pizza place. Need to up the quality of pizza and speed of service. No reason to go here with other great places nearby.
