I love this place! Yes, the Owner is a bit coo-coo, but that’s what you would expect from an old Italian restaurant. You know Italians have a temper, and this just sort of adds to the atmosphere. I’m always slightly afraid when entering the place, but on the other hand this is what makes it exciting. Cash only – yeah, they could change that, maybe with adding some fee to pay with a card. But even if not – who are you to tell the boss what to do! ;)) Their pizzas are proper Italian pizzas and I love that. No Turkish pizza dough masked as Italian. Just real pizza.

Very good food with reasonable prices. This was probably the best value we’ve had at any restaurant in the Netherlands. The server was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and cozy, yet there were still plenty of seats available. The menu was large and gives something for everyone. The salad was excellent. The beer menu could be improved though. I did notice at least one menu item showed up at a higher price on the bill than advertised on the menu (but it was only .25 euro).

good morrow my fellow brethren, I write to you all today as public service announcement about the owner of this establishment, a fellow who goes by the name (alias perhaps?): GIOVANNI. I have never in my 67 years of life had the utter displeasure of crossing paths with such a rude, aggressive individual. Giovanni has demonstrated, on multiple occasions, a display of disregard for his very obviously hardworking employees, very attractive employees may I say. Giovanni’s presence poses the question of the authenticity of this ‘italian’ establishment, as my fellow Italian fratelos have difficulty communicating in their mother tongue with ‘Giovanni’. I think he may be committing identity fraud. goodnight everyone, stay safe, away from this establishment. Giovanni also reuses butter which is unhygienic and just kinda weird.

The VERY BEST Italian restaurant in Rotterdam! It’s not far from the city centre in a residential area. Bus 32 from Blaak will take you there and it’s worth the trip. This family owned restaurant may look unassuming and there is no fancy decor but loyal customers come here for the phenomenal food and service. It was busy on a Wednesday evening and there were customers for pizza takeaway: an indication of the popularity of the restaurant. Highly recommended!! PS: No credit/debit card. To be honest, I came here just to meet my uncle, who happens to be the owner of the restaurant. I didn’t know what to expect—but I was completely blown away. The service, the respect, and the food quality were absolutely incredible. Truly amazing. I was speechless.

Completely insane and aggressive owner. Ordered 2 pizzas through Thuisbezorgd app. He asked for the order name, I said I wasn’t sure in which name it was done, so I showed him the receipt with the order code in big letters. He started yelling at me. He insisted on the name, so I told him my name. He didn’t listen, because he was going nuts moving around and waving his hands, saying I was wasting his time. Went back in twice, started yelling “who called?”. I told him I didn’t call, I used the app. Finally he brought out his printed receipt from the kitchen, which had my name and, obviously, the code in BIG LETTERS. I confirmed that was my order, and he said it would take another 5 minutes, and started apologizing in the most insincere way. Go here if you like getting yelled at and feeling like they are doing you a favor for selling you food.
