We didnt have to wait to be seated, they took our order quickly, however it took close to an hour to get our meals. ( I kid you not!) The food is very good , service was good. I will return again, ill make sure to bring a snack for the long wait.

A soulful experience from start to finish! This small Black-owned gem serves up some of the most flavorful, creative soul food I’ve ever had. Today I tried the Fruity Pebble French Toast with a side of fried chicken wings, and both the taste and presentation were spectacular. Every bite felt like it was made with genuine love and care, and the menu is full of unique dishes that really set this place apart.
If I had any suggestions, it would only be to see them in a larger space someday—with more seating for bigger groups and maybe even a cozy stage in the corner for karaoke or local performances. They deserve all the room to shine because they’re truly doing something special here.

I love a great brunch spot. I came into Bridgeport for a concert. I stayed overnight and found this spot a few blocks away from my Airbnb. The food was delicious. The service, minus a little bit of a wait due to how busy there are, was decent. I’ve already mentioned it to a few people back home in NY. I would definitely go back because I am someone who doesn’t like grits, and theirs were so good!!!

Great customer service. Food was hot fresh and delicious. I had the honey butter biscuit breakfast sandwich with beef bacon. Can’t wait to try all the other amazing looking food they offer.

Customer service could use structure, I ordered a Cesar salad wrap that came with fries. It came with zero ketchup and the wrap was dry. Very disappointing because the wait for the wrap was long. Wouldn’t recommend it.

The chicken and red velvet waffles were to DIE for took about 25 minutes and was worth every minute of the wait ! highly recommend the atmosphere was nice. They have music on, the staff was nice and helpful but the food was absolutely incredible. We will definitely be back.

Walked right in and was seated right away on a Sunday around noon. There’s street parking in the front and a parking garage literally right across the street if you want covered parking (I think it was $6 for an hour)
Great service and AMAZING food! There are 8 tables in the front and may be more in the back, but it’s not a big restaurant so I would expect some wait times depending on how busy they get. The food is SO worth it if you do have to wait. I’ve seen a few reviews with complaints about wait times, but this isn’t a McDonald’s. It’s a small business that makes ready to order food. Speed and quality rarely come together. If you are patient you won’t regret it.

I’ve gotten food here a couple of times and it’s always tasted amazing but every time I get chicken from here, somebody puts one packet of hot sauce in my bag when I asked for hot sauce I don’t think you understand how bad that pisses me off guys other than that, everything is great

Hadn’t been in a while and just as expected they are still a Delight. I brought my Niece for her first time, she had the fruity pebbles french toast and chicken which she rated 9/10. I had fried shrimp grits and home fries 10/10. So happy that the quality is still the same.

HORRIBLE!! Waited 2 hours for my food for it to not be fresh! Waffles was cold and soggy like they were reheated from overnight. Bacon was dried out over cooked! People was getting their food before us and we order the same thing and WAY BEFORE! Server was very rude. I expressed the waffle was not good, another option was not suggested. Server just laughed and kept going!! Very disappointing! WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!! Don’t even bother waisting your time!
