Dairy Queen is more than just a fast-food chain; it’s a nostalgic trip down memory lane and a reliable spot for tasty treats and eats. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a sense of warmth, thanks to the friendly staff who seem genuinely happy to serve you. The service is quick, efficient, and always comes with a smile, making you feel valued as a customer.

But let’s talk about the real star of the show: the food. Dairy Queen has mastered the art of balancing savory and sweet. Their burgers are juicy, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients that set them apart from the typical fast-food fare. And who can forget their famous Blizzards? These aren’t your average ice cream concoctions; they’re a creamy, dreamy mix of ice cream and your favorite candies or toppings, blended to perfection. Each spoonful is a burst of flavor that leaves you craving more.

What truly sets Dairy Queen apart is their commitment to consistency and quality. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or a late-night dessert, you can always count on the same great taste and service. It’s this reliability, combined with their delicious food and welcoming atmosphere, that makes Dairy Queen a standout in the crowded fast-food market. It’s a place where memories are made, and every visit feels like a special treat.

Every time we visit this place it’s always the same stuff over and over again. Just a bunch of kids working the place, goofing off and always taking longer than it should. Our ice cream comes out actively melting most of the time. Fries are almost always cold. I’m only here because my kids like their blizzards. It’s just embarrassing on the store’s behalf when customers who are sitting inside to eat can hear the employees in the kitchen goofing off and doing nothing. Doesn’t help their case either when you can see the manager sitting in the office on her phone, if you sit in the right spot in the lobby that is. And I guess this is normal for the store and not just on the hands of whoever the manager is that day, because I’ve been here quite a few times and have seen multiple managers and some employees just relaxing in the back

My friend and I entered the restaurant together, but as 2 separate customers. We each had a coupon, but the cashier refused to honor them since we were deemed to be “together”. He decided that we were not 2 separate customers, and would not honor my coupon since I was, in his opinion, not a separate customer. He also said that this was his manager’s position. I will not be returning to to this rip-off joint that won’t honor its own coupons. Because the coupon was good only at the Leonardtown and Charlotte Hall locations, I will refrain from both locations since they are managed by the same franchisee. It’s a shame since I grew up with DQ and have always liked their food. But I don’t appreciate being screwed.

Apparently a $10-12 meal at Dairy Queen is now a Bacon Mcdouble and 2″ of French fries. Seriously, its about 1/3 of a potato worth of fries.

Two of these meals for me and my daughter came out to $24 and some change. Not worth the money.

Went through the drive thru. Quick, friendly service, hot chicken basket. Awesome experience. Will definitely go back.

I was FURIOUS with my first, and what will be my ONLY visit to this location. The guy at the front counter, I believe his name was either John or Josh, got my order wrong TWICE and took 12 minutes to serve my food when the store was practically a ghost town. I ordered a $7 meal deal and I had expect that to be one of the easier things to get on the menu considering it’s the store’s “special.” The workers in the kitchen left the food and my blizzard behind the counter for him to bring out to my table and it had been sitting there unattended for a while. All other workers seemed to have been busy, from what I was able to see Drive-Thru was occupied by the guy working at the window with almost no help and John or Josh was nowhere to be seen for a whole 12 minutes!! I heard a lot of laughing and horseplay in the back where he had come out from so I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if that meant he was distracted on his phone and/or attending to other irresponsible employees. After 12 minutes of “fast” food service, to no one’s surprise, my food was cold, my ice cream was almost soup, and I was left dissatisfied. Unbelievable.

Our trip to Dairy Queen today turned out to be another disappointment. We were giving them another try as the last several times the cheeseburgers were overcooked and dried out and the fries were cold. The first few times there the burgers were delicious and the fries were very hot. Hope they can get it together or I will not be back.

I ordered a Blizzard and sat down with my little tent. Ten minutes went by. No worries. They were not busy but I was in no hurry. Another five minutes goes by so I politely asked for my ice cream and they told me indignantly that it was right here, pointing to the counter behind them. It was rather jarring. I was like, take it easy man.

The employee then stood there blankly as if frozen in space and time for like a minute. I literally thought I was on a prank show. Waiting and watching them was sort of fun. Eventually I asked them if I should come behind the counter and get the ice cream myself or if they could be troubled to hand it to me. I don’t mind a little hard work and if they want to hire me to work behind the counter, I would entertain their salary offer.

Alas, my talking seemed to snap the employee out of whatever fugue state they had fallen in to. Eventually, the employee was able to take the Blizzard from the back counter and hand it to me. I was a little disappointed because the weirdness was entertaining.

Normally, when I get bad treatment at a food establishment I do not eat the food because I do not trust they can handle food correctly when they cannot handle business correctly. But in this case, I said to heck with it, and ate the ice cream. Maybe I’d get a little bit of whatever they have been having.

Luckily, the Blizzard was only a little melty. I just wish I has asked them to turn it upside down so it would fall out but I did not think of it fast enough.

It was delicious but the eating area was chilly.

They charged me $30 and said it didn’t go through even though I could see the charge on my bank app. They said they needed to swipe again and that this charge would drop off. I refused to allow them to swipe again, they refused my phone, and SURPRISE SURPRISE—the charge never dropped off.
