What a great experience!! Hidden Gem in the Smokies!
Incredible food made from scratch by an incredibly kind couple with a truly fun and unique atmosphere!! There was another local gentleman playing really good guitar while we ate!
Their made in house smoked pies were out of this world good!
Sweet tea was also so darn good!
Very affordable with generous portions what more could you even ask for?
To top the whole great experience off we even seen a bear sleeping in the bush on the hill around back from the window of the bus while we ate!
If you’re passing through Cosby on your way to Gatlinburg or Newport this spot is absolutely worth the stop!

This was our first spot we stopped at on our way to our cabin for our anniversary! Such a good spot with the nicest people. Got a quick lunch of french dip and philly style sandwich and some yummy lemonade. Cucumber and tomato side was very good! Got to mark our memory. ❤️ Very cool place!

My group went zip lining and we were giving the recommendation by the workers there to come try out Docs. Boy let me tell you, we were not disappointed!! Their food was so fresh and full of flavor!! Their panini and cheesesteak were to die for. They also had fresh homemade lemonades that were very delicious!!

The best food we have ate so far on our trip. Super friendly people, cool atmosphere. Got the turkey and dumplings and it tasted just like home. Well worth the beautiful drive out from Gatlinburg. 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy delicious smoked bbq, homemade cooking and an eccentric environment. Thanks Doc!

Popped in for a late lunch and found friendly people, excellent service and nice tasty food. I hand the chilli beans and they were excellent. All the food was freshly made and everyone left happy. Potato salad and club sandwich were also very popular. Enjoy

Very unique place with AMAZING food… From the options to the flavor, you won’t find anything that would leave you disappointed. They are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday only so plan accordingly.. Very much worth the trip!!

This was such a great experience and the food was amazing!! We traveled 4 hrs from Alabama to visit, I will defiantly be back sometime. They smoke all their pies, which was so unique and delicious, I’d never had smoked pie before. You can tell they use quality meat and ingredients!

Stopped in for dinner. Food portions are very generous! Food was delicious. We weren’t sure at first what to expect but this converted bus to restaurant was so neat. Definitely a hidden gem. The waitress we had was so pleasant and attentive. Younger girl who definitely added to our experience. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and made good recommendations. If we get back down would stop here again.
