A family-owned local restaurant in town with great service, food, and overall experience! Definitely a go-to place. There’s a variety of Asian cuisine to choose from and are delicious as well. Definitely my favorite restaurant around town. LOTS of yummy ice cream options as well so there is something for everyone. Highly recommended.

They’ve got a mixed menu. Asian & Mexican. The tacos were great and the service was fast. The people were friendly and accommodating. The first thing that I noticed when I sat down was a filthy table. When I got my food the beans were cold. Definitely from a can. Not authentic. I gave 3 stars because I asked for no rice and double beans and they were very accommodating with the substitution. Or else it would have been only 2 stars for the cleanliness of the restaurant. They could use a good cleaning from top to bottom and decluttering.

Delicious food! Run by a wonderful family! The 5 star heat was not super hot, but they gave us a hot chili sauce that served just great! Served in “to go” boxes, but there are several tables available. 9pm and we wanted dinner. Only Michele’s was open (the Stikine was not serving dinner that night) Though it is disguised as a (yummy!) ice cream shop and google maps places it one block off, we finally happily found it. So worth the hunt! Though we were contentedly full, the delicious ice cream captured us. A great find!!!

Michelle’s place was a bit difficult to find but well worth the hunt! Her sushi rolls are amazing. Hands down the best we have had in Southeast Alaska. What a find in this charming Alaskan town.
