Ordered some black sushi on a Sunday afternoon while waiting for my electric car to charge. Sushi was great. My wife got the Szechuan chicken and said it was also delicious. Quiet atmosphere. Well lit. Pretty decor. Recommend.

My wife and I both had the Triple Delight which was a combination dinner with steak, shrimp, and chicken with vegetables and fried rice. We were there in the afternoon and the fried rice wasn’t real fresh, like it had been setting around awhile. Also they could have put in one or two more shrimp (I think there were only three pieces). Other than that it was pretty tasty. I enjoyed it more so than the wife. The waiter was very courteous and helpful.

The thai food was very generic and not the high-quality ingredients that you would typically see. The drunken noodles were ok, and the curry was decent at best the Tom kha was very disappointing. I personally wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. The sushi roll my wife got was the only reason for the 2 stars it was good. Otherwise, it’d be 1.

Great Thai Spicy Noodle Bowls
Noël Teel and I had a late lunch at “Taste of Asia” in South Charleston. I have been wanting to go here for a while. Free parking is always good. Inside the interior was lovely, but nothing spectacular and over the top, actually more cozy, intimate with a touch of the Orient. Loved it!! They took us to a booth near the back. After looking over the menu, she went with a seafood entree of lo mein with shrimp and scallops and a bowl of Miso Tofu soup..both looked and tasted yummy. YES I had to swirl my chopsticks into those delicious noodles with veggie chunks streaming at me..I went with Spring Rolls and Chicken Pad Thai which was very spicy and yummy in my tummy with its rice noodles and spicy broth… I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend to others. Medium pricy for lunch, but great food !!!

I always love coming here when we want to have a sit down Chinese dinner… It makes all the difference. We ordered the General Tso’s and Chicken Pad Thai for the entree. The General Tso’s was awesome as usual and has such a nice heat kick. The Chicken Pad Thai was good but we felt the noodles used didn’t hold onto the sauce as is should’ve.
For the appetizers, we got the fried dumplings, a Volcano sushi roll, and Fuji Apple Sake which were excellent and fresh!

The reasons i go to Taste of Asia is there sushi is always fresh, made to order, always delicious and the sushi rolls are perfect size .
When i order i just get something I haven’t had or ate that much because there sushi is my favorite thing to eat and savor.
The different combination used in the rolls are succulent so i enjoy any made at this Sushi Haven.
Sashimi i always order also which is fabulous.
So if your in the mood for delicious entrees or sushi please give Taste of Asia a try.

The curry is good. But the Vietnamese spring roll is horrible. The Thai and Chinese food are the way to go for here. Sushi seems mediocre at best.

Excellent. No crowd at lunch rush time. The staff was friendly and kept the place tidy. Highly recommend for the sashimi! Will definitely be making a trip back soon.
