Maui Nō Ka ‘Oi
I was charged for someone else’s order without my consent or knowledge. I paid for my order and received the correct amount and correct receipt. My bank later called to ask about a second transaction on the same day about the same time for triple the amount. I’m still waiting for a resolution from the store and have filed as fraud since nobody seems to take it seriously.

For me, this location is out of the way except for when I’m at work. It’s a fairly newish store, probably about 15 years old or so, located at the busy intersection of Lower Main & Lower Waiehu Beach Rd. It’s a small footprint, clean, with a few indoor tables, and drive thru. Access in & out is easy, parking is minuscule and tight.
Service was friendly, though it took a while for my Ultimate Cheeseburger to be made. But, it was well worth the wait as the burger was nicely prepared and not sloppy at all except for a few ketchup & mustard overflows. The more, the merrier!
FACTS:
There are only 3 locations on the rock – This one, Kahului, and Kihei.
JITB has locations in only 19 US states, mostly on the west coast, so we should all be so lucky! Kind of like having an In N Out. Just kidding. Nothing can compare to I&O! But imagine going to Boston, New York or Pennsylvania and having no JITB option? Shocking, but true LOL.

I had a DoorDash order , and the car in front of me was able to place their order. When it came to my turn , I mentioned the DoorDash order, worker had asked for the code possibly took notice that the order was big and then begin to say “ we’re closed “ . It’s is one thing to take long making a order due to being a single worker , but it is another thing to just lie because you’d need to put in the extra work for a big order. Not cool.

The owner of this Jack in the box must tell their employees they don’t have to acknowledge the in store customers at orientation. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes and I must’ve been invisible because not one out of the 4 workers even made eye contact with me

This location specifically is AWFUL – I work overnight so I frequent it because it’s the only thing open. The issue is they will randomly close without turning off the app. You place an online order and then get there and its closed. The kicker is there is no way to get your refund through the app. Even worse the employees are there but say there is nothing they can do but still refuse to refund your money. this has happened at least four times. The last time this happened they told me to drive to a different location miles away to pick up my food. I never got my refund even after submitting both a help ticket through the app AND a survey through the app about this. No response. Had to file a charge back with my credit card. At this point I avoid this location all together. They will steal your money and laugh all the way to the bank.

Great food. Good location. The restaurant was in renovations so not much seating. Lots of free parking. The cheeseburger was delicious!

This was the most dirty, worse jack in the box I’ve ever been too. The manager himself didn’t use any gloves and was handling cash, food, boxes and everything else. They have spots for you to sit and eat but have bathrooms blocked off so can’t even wash your hands or use the bathroom. It looks like they never clean the cooking area. Very disappointing. I have never ever seen such disgusting Jack in the box in my life like this.

The staff is always great and hard working. I did let the employee know that if it takes 40 minutes for a mobile order, then you shouldn’t be accepting them. It’s not fair to the team members working there. This has been a consistent problem. One time I left after none of the cars moved forward for 27 minutes. This was about a month and a half ago. Or two. And it was just for a breakfast sandwich.
And if you don’t have enough staff, you shouldn’t be open and you definitely shouldn’t be accepting more than drive thru and dine in. This just happened a third time tonight. And I meant to tell the sweet employee that she should let management and owner know.

I often come to this Jack in the Box during my lunch break. I always order the crispy chicken strips, but am always a little wary since every Jack in the Box I’ve been to will end up burning at least one of the strips every other visit. I prefer to eat the strips as is, but when the chicken is tough and dry from over cooking, I use the buttermilk sauce to try to cover up the taste. I just accept it as a fact of life when ordering from Jack in the Box. Today was one such day.
This time though, about halfway through my meal, the lady at the counter inquired about how my meal was since there were no other customers at the time. When I informed her that one piece was burnt, she requisitioned a new one to take its place without me ever having to approach the counter. Needless to say, this level of service goes above and beyond any level of service I’ve received at a fast food restaurant and, at the time of this review, I would highly recommend this Jack in the Box as a great place to eat in.
PS: Today, the printed covers for the buttermilk sauce were humorously askew. Just a funny little tidbit.
