Kesar’s is a foodie’s dream. Kesar’s is a father’s determination. Kesar’s is a culmination of a lot of things. But, most importantly, it is a culinary journey. It is Kesar’s India on a plate. Kesar is the richest spice in the spice basket. It is the spice with the golden hue. It has the Midas touch that makes everything it touches golden too. For our founder, Manish, Kesar is the queen of spices. So, when his daughter was born, he already knew what he was going to name her. He also knew that when he would realize his lifelong dream of opening a restaurant, it would be for his princess, his Kesar. And in 2018, he finally realized his dream. This time again, he knew precisely what his lifelong dream would be named – Kesar’s.

Reviews
Pani Poori- 6 pcs – these were tasty though the chutney was more like syrup. The water used came out in a small bottle which was cool.
Crispy Baby Corn- great indochinese appetizer, the baby corn is lightly battered and fried then tossed in a sauce
Soya Masala Curry- this was a flop. The tomato onion based curry lacked salt and spice and the actual soya pieces were too soft and mushy in texture. Wish these were a bit more dense as experienced in other restaurants.
Roomali Roti- drown in ghee and it must have sat over a gas flame because it tasted of bad chemicals. Basically like eating the ghee-soaked cotton swabs from
the candles at the local temple.
Kathiyawadi Thali- the wife’s dish- she enjoyed two if the items but this was not a great experience either.
I was disappointed in the vast difference in quality between two visits. Service, however was great as servers were attentive and quick.
Cholle bhature are good, big enough for 2-3 people
Makki ki roti Saag is okay
Avoid Daal baati
Service is very good.
But the best thing everything served was fresh.
The person who services us was very kind and helpful with the selections. I went here for lunch with some of our friends and family and after having had a heavy home breakfast and hence didn’t have an appetite for the Thali meals. That’s the same reason I didn’t click a lot of pics like I would usually do.
The vegetable biryani, SPDP chaat and puris with aloo subzi came in no time from the time we ordered. As much as the food was tasty I found them bit salty and the subzi little oily – this coming from a salt lover who tends to add salt to anything he eats, you can trust me.
Overall a good restaurant serving quality food and with ample parking space (weekend parking story could be little different).
Foo quality excellent, service is great and prices are reasonable.
My wife loves South Indian dishes, my son Loves Punjabi, daughters like Gujarati / Maharashtrian style food and we all get as per our preferences.
Recently we celebrated our daughter’s birthday and we ordered Maharaja Thali and it was a great experience for all of us.
Thank you Kesar
2. Taste is acceptable for most of the items.
3. Service time is good.
4. Not very crowded on a weekend.
5. Masala chai not so good.
6. All the items in Punjabi thali are good except gulab jamun
7. In dal baati, the baati is hard and tastes like it’s made of corn instead of aata.
8. Soya chaap sizzler not really worth it. Too much red color and quite dry.
9. Mango lassi and raj kachori chaat are good
The service, food quality, cleaniness, staff everything is great!
Perfect for any gatherings!
