Took my husband here, it was both of our first time. Don’t be fooled by the building outside. I cant speak the inside because I didn’t go in. His food was sooooo good. Although he asked for grilled porkchops they gave him fried……still was good. The smell made me ask for a piece. Lol. He ordered grilled porkchops Cabbage and greens and an order of cheese fries and a lemonade all for $20 Portions were small but the order of cheese fries was standard. All in all I would definitely return when im in nashville except I’ll be ordering me something next time. Lol

When I say this place is a must-try, I mean it! Everything on my plate was delicious. The gentleman who took my order was very professional and communicated with me perfectly. I came looking for soul food, and that’s exactly what I got—10/10. Oh, and the Kool-Aid? Just like I used to make it as a kid—sweet and nostalgic. Pro tip: get it with ice!

I give Roadside Pantry a solid four out of five stars. The service was fantastic and pleasant, with orders taken through a small window in the back. I enjoyed a meal of steak, catfish, and french fries topped with pulled pork. The mac and cheese was on point, with flavors hitting just right. Portions were fair, so consider ordering extra if you’re hungry. Don’t forget to ask about your preferred sauces. The Kool-Aid is extra sweetened, so you’ll want ice. I didn’t notice a restroom, but I’ll definitely be back. I was so hungry that I neglected to take more plate pics. My bad.

Their chicken wings are really good! They taste homemade. I recommend their turnip greens and sweet potatoes on the side. Wish there was more parking but I only come in to grab and go.

Wide variety of options when it came to the food and the mural inside was definitely impressive.
There was unfortunately not a bathroom for customers. Definitely more of a takeout restaurant than a sit down restaurant. Parking was owned by Hair salon next-door, didn’t have to pay, but was a little misleading for this business.

Excellent service! Gentleman at the counter (Robert I think?) and another patron gave perfect recommendations for my family visiting from the PNW. Turkey ribs and pulled pork were amazing, and the catfish sandwich melted in my mouth. Cajun fries worth the seasoning! Wish we were here longer to try the brisket tomorrow!

Amazing Food!! I had the Salmon. My friends had the catfish and the bbq chicken. Everything was sooo good. The sides. Literally everything. Even the kool-aid. The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. From the outside I was skeptical, but it was better than I could have imagined. If you haven’t been here. Go! You won’t be disappointed.

This place is a secret gem and y’all better hit it up before it becomes too popular for you to snag an order! I got the catfish sammich (add onion, pickles and mustard); it was flawlessly cooked and seasoned. Side of coleslaw was well-dressed and refreshing in between bites.
