An Exceptional Dining Experience at BIG PAPI- Wow, what a fantastic location! I absolutely fell in love by the incredible food, vibrant atmosphere, and amazing service.
To begin, I ordered the 8oz guacamole with freshly made crispy tortilla chips. For my main course, I sampled from the single taco selection: the Birria, Smash Burger, Chorizo, and Carnitas tacos. Each taco was a masterpiece, featuring a crispy tortilla that appeared to be dipped in a savory sauce. The portions offered a perfect balance, packed with compact flavors.
I MUST highlight the Loaded Fries with Steak—they arrived perfectly crispy and were generously topped with steak and a delicious secret sauce. Of course, I had to try the Flamin’ Hot Elote Loco in a cup. Unlike many places where the corn lacks freshness, Big Papi’s elote was unmistakably fresh and utterly delicious.
For dessert, the hot, crispy churros were the perfect sweet finale.
A special thank you to Jorge and Edward for their exceptional service. Their attentiveness and warmth truly elevated the experience.

We went to grab a quick bite on a friday. It was empty. Ordering was easy thru the screen on the front. Took about 15 mins to get the food even it was only us in the dining area. Food was not the best for the prices. I wonder how they got 4.7 stars. It might be just today or the time we visited. Kids chairs needs to clean well. It was sticky.

We’ve been here many times, and it never disappoints. The birria tacos are my absolute favorite—full of flavor and always worth the wait. My husband always orders the carne asada and says it’s consistently delicious. On our last visit, my daughter was having a rough day, and the staff was incredibly kind and patient with her, which truly meant a lot to us. While the food took a little longer than usual, it was absolutely worth it. A friendly reminder to everyone: these are difficult times, especially in retail and food service. Many places are understaffed and doing their very best—please be kind and understanding.

Absolutely love this place! The birria pizza, tacos, and salad tacos bowl are all amazing. The birria sauce is incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned—one of the best in MoCo. I used to visit the Frederick location, but this spot has great parking and is in a nice area. Highly recommend checking them out—you won’t be disappointed! Friendly staff, delicious food, convenient location, and reasonable prices.

This place is usually very good but the other day I received some Street corn that didn’t taste good. The street tasted as if they poured milk into it and no seasonings at all! The cheetos were caked with butter and so thick I couldn’t break it up. Overall it left me very unsatisfied which I was surprised because I usually go there for lunch, but not anymore. Plus wait times are extremely long, I usually order my food for pick up a 1hr before and sometimes its still not ready.

I honestly didn’t like the 2 tacos I ordered online. The birria taco was so hard to eat as the meat was hard to chew and really did not look like one ,had no consume or even cheese and my shrimp taco was just okay. I expected a little more of it and specially taste for the price point.

If you want to pay $12 for rice wrapped in a tortilla with maybe an oz of meat/beans added on the side, this is place for you. The carnitas and the tinga tasted exactly the same — like rice and hot sauce.
We also tried a birria taco + consume, and while the birria was fine, the consume was extremely lacking in both seasoning and flavor, and had an unpleasant aftertaste. If you blindfolded me and placed a cup of this consume and a cup of store bought beef stock in front of me I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
They get two stars since I didn’t actually get food poisoning or something. I won’t be back.

The birria tacos are the best I’ve ever had! If you’re a big eater like me, try the birria burrito or the birria ramen. They are very tasty and filling. The birria ramen comes in the consome sauce and is amazing. The quesabirra is also a great value for what you get if your looking to eat on a budget for 2-3 people.
The surf n turf (steak and shrimp) are also very popular with my coworkers. They don’t bother looking at the menu anymore, they always go for the surf n turf or carne asada because they are soooo gooood! Can’t go wrong with the tinga or carnitas either!
Overall very good quality tacos and burritos. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Very meaty, flavorful, and made with the highest quality ingredients available.
