My hubby and I had an absolutely fantastic dinner here! We started with cocktails and Bang Bang shrimp; the drinks were delicious and the shrimp were scrumptious! The shrimp portion was generous. Hubby and I both ordered filets and we also ordered mushrooms and pommes frites. The steak was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms were divine and the potatoes were crunchy on the outside and pillow-y soft on the inside. The service was impeccable as well. I will definitely return the next time I’m in San Antonio!

Wonderful dining experience, well worth the effort. We shared crabcakes and beefsteak tomato salad, I had 16 oz Prime Ribeye and the Missus had a 10 oz Filet Mignon. Everything was excellent, cooked to spec and tasty. Piano entertainment was on offer downstairs (Riverwalk level) when we visited; if you want a quieter space I suggest you ask for upstairs (street level) seating instead. Outdoor balcony seating is also available upstairs.
Highly recommended for couples and friends, those seeking a romantic option, and for business types wanting to make a good impression with a client. Not so great for families with smaller children.

Brenner’s on the River Walk is an excellent restaurant with great ambiance, food, and service. The interior is stylish and comfortable. Our family started with the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp as an appetizer. Although we didn’t order the Crab Cake, it is considered one of their specialties. The bread service is $5 and definitely worth it.
For the main course, we ordered a 10oz Filet Mignon, New York Strip steak, and Miso Seabass, accompanied by Au Gratin Potatoes as a side. Overall, the meal was very satisfying, and the service was friendly and attentive. For dessert, we enjoyed Ice Cream, Sorbet, and Gelato, rounding off a delicious dining experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a special meal during their visit.

We came for my husband birthday with family. Variety of dishes, and wines. Small dishes with different fusion of flavors. For appetizers, we had Bread Service, Roasted Bacon and Sticky Burnt Ends (amazingly flavorful). Lobster Bisque was really delicious. Crispy Rice Sushi was unexpected but really good. Miso Glazed Sea Bass and Crab Stuffed Shrimp was very flavorful and delicious.

First time dining at a Brenner’s and we are very happy we did! Great place. Nice interior. Great wait staff. Our server, Vincenzo, was very well informed about the menu choices and did an excellent job waiting on our table of two. They had live entertainment: a female singer who also played the piano, and she had a wonderful voice and a good song selection. The food was deliciious. Lobster bisque was the best we have ever had. The shrimp in the Shirmp Cocktail were huge! The New York Strip Steak was perfectly done, tender and tasty. The family side dish of Au Gratin Potatoes had a wonderful cheesy flavor and it was a generous serving for two. We also ordered the Brenner’s Bread Basket and loved the multiple types of bread and two types of butter. We did not have any room for dessert, but their choices sounded delicious.

Had a wonderful dinner at Brenner’s on the River Walk! The crab cake was perfectly seasoned and the steak was cooked just right, tender and flavorful. The atmosphere was relaxing with a great view of the river. Big thanks to Aaron, our server, for being so attentive and friendly throughout the night! Highly recommend.

Went to this place on a whim and was not disappointed. Staff was friendly and accommodating, readily able to read the needs of the table without being over bearing. We ordered the short rib appetizer which melted like butter in your mouth. The lobster and buffalo steak was cooked well but I’d happily order an entire entree of short ribs next time. My only complaint was the level of noise inside, at times it was difficult to hear our waiter.

Was on the Riverwalk for Thanksgiving this year, couldn’t have picked a better place than Brenners to try and enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner! Our waitress was awesome amd so was all the food. Had an awesome table upstairs in the balcony overlooking everything, it was perfect
