This is the best wine shop in Northern California. Hands down!!! Emphasis on natural wines and an amazing champagne selection. To get any thing close, you have to drive at least five hours The cheese and meat fridge has some special hidden gems!!!!

If you love natural wine, this is the spot. The selection curated by the owner also comes with knowledge that you can feel confident you left with the perfect bottle for you to enjoy. Don’t sleep on his very own wine project that uses only Humboldt county grapes and isn’t distributed out of this area unless it’s by you. Killer shop.

Stopped in while staying in Arcata for a week around New Years.
This wine bar was a lovely counterpoint to the dive bars across the square. Don’t get me wrong- I love a good dive bar, but this is the opposite of that and it’s great.
The giant wooden counter in the window is the BEST place to sit over a glass of wine and look out at the square and all.
Carol was really sweet, and made some excellent suggestions for my trip.
We had the champagne flight for new years, and there was one obvious winner.
