Overall food was pretty good. The chicken parm was delicious! The only issue we had was the garlic knots were absolutely terrible. They were a waste of money. Dry and hard.

A group of friends we meet there monthly, and that has given me the opportunity to try a few items on their menu. I tried the meatball marinara sandwich once, and it was decent. I liked it. Last night, unfortunately, I tried the pesto pasta with a few extra toppings, and it was very disappointing. The roasted chicken was really hard to chew. Any chef should know how to tenderize chicken, even when it is a breast and not fried. The pasta felt cold. And they served without the promised focaccia that the menu says. The pasta alone was around $ 18. I can definitely make something better for cheaper at home. I also dislike that sodas are served in cans.

Hit Teds the day before Thanksgiving at lunch. Empty parking spots everywhere, much joy. The white Rabbit pizza was excellent, so much savory joy and paired with a fresh Bell’s 2-hearted off of tap, it was a banger. Wish downtown was quieter so I could hit Teds more often… My wife’s chicken parm sandwich was adequate, but that pizza really sang. Will be back again when the students are not around!

I don’t usually put bad reviews, but I had to do it this time.
I ordered Focaccia (which is regular bread with seasoning, definetly not focaccia) and 2 Pizzas. Both pizzas kinda had weird taste and we had to leave them almost untouched.
Maybe they just got the bad day and it is a wonderful place but this was my experience :S

Cool, funky setting. The flavors here are complex, not really a kid’s pizza joint. The marinara had a smoky, almost curried flavor – very interesting. The salad and house dressing are fresh but a lot of the breads were dry. I enjoyed the antipasto with lots of fancy meats and olives. They had some great looking desserts in the case and I tried the banana pudding cupcake. While I think everything is a pretty solid three here, those cupcakes were a FIVE!

So far, the best pizza in Athens. I really don’t understand anything else other than thin crusted pizza. And Ted has a good approach to that. Service is minimal. After we sat down, nobody came to our table. You have to walk to the counter, grab a menu, and order there. They do bring the food to your table, and service is REALLY FAST when there is less crowd. I will definitely come here again to try the other pizzas.
We ordered the margarita with sliced meatball and Florentine with pepperoni. Yes, sometimes you have to order the meat separately.

Great concept and location. It’s a fun and funky place to meet up with friends or watch a game. Service and atmosphere are fine (for what it is), but food is very mediocre. Food tends be bland, stale, or overcooked. Pasta dishes are particularly underwhelming.

We came to Athens for a little day trip. TMB was highly recommended by multiple locals and Google. Had the chicken parm sub. Did not like it. It was very bland and dry. The breaded chicken really wasn’t breaded, and it didn’t have enough sauce. I had to add salt, crushed red pepper, and ranch (which costs $1 for a little container, why?) to make it taste like something. I only ate half before i gave up on it. The kids had pizza and spaghetti. They also didn’t eat but about half. The desserts: Banana pudding was good. The cake pop was not. Caramel cheesecake was good. The service was amazing, and that goes a long way. The atmosphere was cool. I won’t be coming back. Overall, nothing to rave about or to recommend to anyone.

Ted’s Most Best was Ted’s Most Aight. Had the mushroom pizza and beet salad. Pizza was so- so and the salad would have been better if not drenched in vinegar. Ted’s needs to get better signage as well because this place difficult to find. I was meeting some colleagues here and circled the block 5 times before calling my coworker and she helped me find it. Only way to know you are at right place is when you are behind the wall and see the neon TED sign. Not easy to find when driving in busy downtown.

Great food at a great price! This was our first visit, but we would definitely eat here again. We had the garlic knots as our appetizer. Go ahead and get the dozen because they are small. It comes with garlic butter and marinara for dipping. Pretty good, but they could use a bit more garlic. For our entrees, we tried the meatball sub and the polpetta pizza. Both were delicious.
