Nestled at the International Temple for World Peace off I-40, just 7 miles east of Williams, AZ, we’re a nonprofit café run entirely by volunteers. Our menu features a full range of coffee drinks, artisan vegetarian desserts, and savory meals, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. Drop in for a peaceful escape, take a temple tour, hike the surrounding forest, or enjoy a quiet spot to read and study. We offer free Wi-Fi, stunning views from our spacious dining area, and donate all proceeds to the Kadampa International Temples Project.

Visiting the World Peace Café, located at the Kadampa Buddhist Temple in Arizona, was a truly wonderful experience. In addition to enjoying delicious coffee, you also have the unique opportunity to explore the temple, its peaceful surroundings, and, depending on the day and time, join guided meditations and learn more about Kadampa Buddhist teachings with the best teachers in the world.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and surrounded by beautiful views, making it perfect for a break during your trip or simply to spend some quiet, meaningful time. The café offers excellent food and drink options, all prepared with great care.

We stopped here randomly for lunch before heading across the street to the deer farm. The cafe is right in front just above the gift shop, despite where google maps wanted to send us around back. The food was delicious and served quickly. The espresso drinks were the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
