I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala via delivery and it was AWFUL. Everything was obviously poorly pre made. The chicken and rice were NOT fresh. The chicken was DRY and had mysterious crunchy pieces. The sauce was decent but seemed like it was just tomato sauce/soup with cream added. I didn’t even finish eating this meal.
I absolutely will not go there or order again.

I love this place- family friendly and all the staff are so polite, understanding, and kind. Food is great. Great place to take family for the lunch buffet on the weekend, but then a great date night spot in the evenings as they have romantic lighting. Recommend the butter chicken and garlic naan if ordering dishes, but the buffet is the best if you are wanting to test out the menu. We have been coming here since they opened and it’s consistently the same wonderful atmosphere.

We did carry outs this time. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Anchorage. The food is always excellent. I’m a vegetarian, but my husband is not. There’s food both of us really enjoy. The food was well packed to take home. I’m happy to have leftovers, so that I can enjoy another meal!

What a blast! We had my birthday dinner at Everest and they did such a good job and the food was AMAZING. Don’t sleep on the okra and the gobi Manchurian in particular. One of our favorite restaurants in Anchorage!

Everest went under my radar and I didnt realize there was another good midtown Indian food option, until I was close by and looking for a restaurant for lunch. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, naan, and gobi manchurian which I hadn’t tried before. I was pleasantly surprised by the latter. It’s a fried spiced cauliflower side that distinctly tasted like an alternative vegetarian bbq option to me and was very good.
I placed a relatively larger order tonight using their own smartphone app and when I arrived everything was ready when I arrived 30 minutes after they opened for the dinner service as requested. I used to do food delivery and often had wait times of 30-45+ minutes for Indian food as all of the delivery and takeout orders drove up wait times in a high population market, so this experience was encouraging.
Im not as harsh of a food critic as some people. I think the food is great and satiates that indian/Nepali craving, and I will be returning. I was pleased to discover they offer a lunch buffet. As someone living on the Southside of anchorage, im happy to have discovered this restaurant which is a bit closer to my home.

I’ve only ate in the restaurant it’s self once. I usually get Grub hub lol. The food is so yummy though. Im addicted to their Buttered chicken and garlic naan. The chicken biryani is very good too and a great portion.

Nice place with good food. Certainly worth a visit to sit down for a nice meal. They also have a lunch buffet that was nice. I enjoy having the opportunity to try many dishes. They also sell the sauces to take home and do your own thing. I made a moose curry that was fabulous.

Best Indian/Nepali food and has a wide variety of dishes. I ordered the chicken momos and garlic shrimp, both seasoned very well. I’ll have to go in person next time, i ordered delivery. It was hard to not order more than a few dishes, the entire menu looked amazing.

Very bad service – never going back!
They gave our order to someone else and then blamed us, saying we had taken the food. The waiter was extremely rude and said he would check the cameras. Eventually, they realized it was their mistake, but even after that, no apology at all.
And to make things worse, when they finally gave us our order, it was incomplete!
If you make an error, the least you can do is own up to it and be polite. Unfortunately, this place has horrible customer service.
Not recommended at all!

Litteraly the best spot for a mix of Indian and Nepalese cuisine. Every plate is exquisite and served with a smile. This is my third time going with my family and I just had to finally write a review. This restaurant has consistently exceeded my expectations and the staff is superb. The portions are big and one dinner easily fed two people and I love to eat. 5 stars and higly recommend even if you don’t like Indian food you will start to love it! Try the Tandoori Chicken or the Fish Tikka, you can’t go wrong! Update! Still fantastic!!!
