Izumi Sushi – Japanese restaurant in Warsaw, Poland – Around Us
Reviews
All staff speak English very well, the sushi was always fresh and they had good lunch deals as well. They also have parking places, so highly recommended!
Hidden within the green tranquility of Mokotów, Izumi Sushi Biały Kamień is not just a restaurant — it’s an urban jungle sanctuary where Japanese refinement meets tropical warmth.
Here, the line between nature and architecture dissolves. You dine among towering palms, bamboo, and sunlight filtering through glass ceilings, as if the sushi bar were growing out of a forest floor.
This is a place where silence hums like soft jazz, and every detail — from the ceramic teapot to the sheen of fresh tuna — feels curated with quiet mastery.
Atmosphere & Design
The interior is breathtaking — a greenhouse of glass, wood, and life.
Massive palm trees rise through the center of the dining space, surrounded by lush foliage and wooden walkways.
Warm light reflects off natural wood beams, while the bar area glows softly with golden bottles and the scent of soy and citrus.
It’s part tropical garden, part fine-dining temple — a rare space where one can feel both alive and at peace.
Sashimi & Sushi
The sushi here is exceptionally fresh, prepared with the precision and artistry of Tokyo’s omakase culture but served in a setting that feels distinctly European and free.
Traditional Sashimi Set (156 zł)
Twelve slices of carefully selected salmon, bluefin tuna, yellowtail, and whitefish.
Each piece was perfectly cut — soft, glistening, and melting upon the tongue.
The presentation, adorned with lime, daikon, and edible flowers, felt like a watercolor painting.
Fusion Rolls Platter
A feast for both eyes and taste — vibrant rolls layered with avocado, eel, spicy tuna, salmon, and tobiko.
The balance between textures (crispy, creamy, tender) showed thoughtful craftsmanship.
Even the rice had the perfect tang of seasoned vinegar — authentic yet modern.
Hot Dishes & Appetizers
Grilled Scallops with Creamy Miso Sauce
Served in their shells, caramelized to perfection, with cherry tomatoes and baby spinach beneath a golden miso crust.
The contrast between the briny scallop and the smoky sweetness of the sauce was divine — a standout dish.
Kimchi Pork Soup (53 zł)
Deep, hearty, and full of umami — tofu, seaweed, and minced pork swimming in a rich, spicy broth.
It felt comforting, almost like a Korean-Japanese fusion stew made for rainy afternoons.
Tuna Tartare & Salmon Ceviche
Bright, clean, citrus-forward — both dishes showed how the kitchen respects raw ingredients without overpowering them.
Lunch Bento Sets
If you visit at midday (12:00–15:00), the lunch menu is a remarkable deal —
beautifully presented bento boxes ranging from 68 zł to 123 zł, each including a complimentary miso soup.
Highlights include:
Korean Ramen Set (75 zł) – Spicy ramen, kimchi, and meat gyoza, balanced and hearty.
Tempura Box (123 zł) – Shrimp tempura, sashimi, futomaki, and kimchi — a perfect introduction to the restaurant’s variety.
Shogayaki Box (85 zł) – Ginger pork, sushi, and rice — a comforting, well-balanced choice.

It’s the kind of place where time slows down — where the rustle of leaves becomes the soundtrack to your meal,

Izumi Sushi Biały Kamień — A garden of calm, where sushi meets the soul of nature.
Spicy soup, salmon tartare and sushi were very tasty and served in a very nice way. Dish selection is impressive which also comes with slightly higher price.
Staff was very friendly and advising very kindly with food choices.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Short & Sweet: A beautifully immersive setting, masterful sushi, and friendly service—ideal for special nights when only exceptional sushi will do.

If you’re looking for an elegant and memorable sushi experience—great for celebrating something special or just indulging in high-quality dining—Izumi delivers on taste, atmosphere, and hospitality. Truly a feast for all the senses.
The cocktails were just okay – creative flavor combinations and interesting ideas, but the overall quality was average. We received our food and drinks quickly, but the service was very basic. No one asked if we wanted another drink or dessert, and no one checked in to see if we were enjoying the food. Every time I wanted to order another drink, I had to catch the waiter’s eye, which took about 5–7 minutes. No one offered us water, either.
Also, the fried ice cream was disappointing – cheap vanilla ice cream inside, topped with bottled chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I really believe they could do much better and create something more authentic.
Overall, I recommend this place for dinner, but don’t expect a high-end restaurant vibe.
It is fancy and expensive you would think at least you would have decent chop sticks but you get the disposable take away ones ! felt we are paying only for the atmosphere, the service was barely ok , everything we asked for we had do ask twice!
Sushi was very tasty. I really liked the lemonade with matcha.
We received our order pretty quickly, but the service could be a little bit more friendly.
Would recommend for a celebration of something important!
As for the food, it’s nothing short of phenomenal. Every dish is crafted with precision and bursting with flavor, from the freshest sashimi to the most creative sushi rolls. The attention to detail in presentation and taste is remarkable, making each bite an unforgettable experience.
Overall, this restaurant offers not only an extraordinary meal but an immersive, soothing experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique, delicious, and peaceful dining experience.
