I ordered ghee karam dosa and the chutney was full of water. I tried talking to staff but they said because of weather it became ice so they added some water to it before serving which was totally meaningless.I was just a 5min away from them and there is no chance of getting melted or freezed in the meantime.

This place is amazing. Decent price, interesting options. Not what you see at Indian restaurants. However beware, both the goat and chicken curry are delicious, but the spice level is not for rookies. As for the atmosphere, it’s between a liquor store and a Chinese drive thru. They put tables out in nice weather…

I recently tried this location, and the food was quite enjoyable and tasty! I ordered the chicken fried rice, and it had that authentic Indian street-style flavor, which I loved. The portion size was generous—just one plate was enough to fill me up. The only small suggestion I have is to include a lemon wedge on the side to enhance the flavor even more. Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back!

I just stopped by here with a few friends and it was absolutely delicious! We all ordered different meals from the menu and everybody loved what they had. I ordered the vegetarian fried rice. You can top it with either mango or onion, and the onion was GREAT! I will definitely be returning for more tasty food!!

Ordered the chicken curry with rice and a spice level of 7. Thankful I got it to go because my food was refrigerator cold and had to warm up in microwave when I got home, and I literally stay about 5min away. Other than that very flavorful. I will probably give them another try after reading the comments, Im thinking might had caught them too late and it being a food truck no way for them to reheat food.

Best dosas and idlis!! Their ghee karam idli is simply amazing… We ordered mysore bonda and punugulu too..yummy! Their chutneys are also very flavorful and homely. Must try for anyone craving soulful South Indian food.

Generous portions! Best late night food near Union Hill! Great Gluten Free Pesarattu!

The staff couldn’t tell me whether the Pesarattu is gluten free. It usually is so I tried it, and happy I did! Delicious, and I can also confirm that the Pesarattu is gluten free too.

I usually order mini bondas from this place once or twice a week and have generally liked them, but today’s experience was extremely disappointing.

The bondas we were served were burnt, very dark in color, and had a strong burnt oil smell. I informed the staff member as soon as I noticed it, but instead of addressing the concern, she was very rude and dismissive. She insisted that this is how they usually serve bondas and even said they “smell good,” which was clearly not the case.

When my friend politely tried to explain that the bondas were black and not the usual color, she responded sarcastically, asking what color bondas are supposed to be, and then told us to take a picture next time to prove it. This kind of response was unprofessional and unnecessary.

To make matters worse, my friend ordered chai, which was served completely cold. This isn’t the first time we’ve had issues here. Last month, we were given less than the usual quantity, and when we pointed it out, the same staff member accused us of lying instead of checking.

We are regular customers and only expect basic food quality and respectful customer service. Unfortunately, repeated negative experiences and rude behavior make it hard to continue ordering from here.

Amaravathi Tiffins offers truly authentic South Indian flavors with dishes that taste freshly made. The dosa was crisp and hot, and the bonda had the perfect texture. Their chutneys — especially the allam (ginger) chutney — were flavorful and added a great punch. The chicken curry was rich and spicy, a great addition to the meal. Everything felt homemade and satisfying. A great spot for anyone craving Andhra-style breakfast or tiffins. Highly recommended!
