Absolute genius to put charred grilled onions on a taco. The meat quality is amazing. You don’t have gritty bits that can be annoying. Salsas they offer are very tasty, and this place is cheap compared to typical taco prices at 4-6 dollars for carne asada.
If you’re looking for legitimate and affordable tacos, come here. I paid about $25 for 8 tacos and a horchata. Probably around $2.50 a taco.

Down the street is a alley with multiple food trucks every evening, but this truck is head and shoulders above the rest. Carne asada is . Tacos are filling. Hand made tortillas upon request. We will be coming back for sure!

Hit up the truck on a Wednesday night. Fair amount of folks. Got the asada and the pastor tacos. Got one creamy green salsa, one green salsa, and one red salsa. The tomatillo green was amazing. The asada was also flavored really well. I wouldn’t get the next time but the red salsa was awesome too!! Truck staff was super nice!

Hard for me to want to go anywhere else after discovering the “red truck” AKA Cabañas Tacos. Best tacos I’ve found in Santa Ana. Yes, yes, I know you have your favorite spot somewhere, but Cabañas Tacos is literally the most legit, cheap, exquisite place out there. The woman who does the cooking loves her job, loves her customers, and loves life. It’s inspiring for real.

This place is a taco truck in Santa ana. Tacos are amazing. The cooks make sure you get a good serving per taco and are not skimpy on the grilled onions. Also the champurado (Mexican hot chocolate ) is efen delicious. Must try if your in the area.

Tacos are so good !! I get tacos here at least twice a week . Super friendly staff . The truck does get busy usually a 10-20 min wait but it’s worth it . And super cheat but very flavorful tacos .
