So we figured we try something different and I was so excited to try some lamb chops and so we decided to stop by Taylor kabob and I gotta say I’m so disappointed the lamb was so tuff and chewy and so was the beef kabob almost like beef jerky. Even with it being chewy and tuff the flavor wasn’t it either. Didn’t wanna write this but I’m very disappointed.

I ordered a chicken shwarma sandwich with hummus and bread. The chicken shwarma sandwich was delicious. The sandwich came in a grilled pita wrap that gave the sandwich a crispy texture, so good! The humus and bread was fantastic also. A nice family runs this restaurant and they are very attentive. The building used to be an A&W drive in back in the day. Give this family a chance to please your taste buds you won’t regret it.

Excellent little family run middle eastern food take out or dine in restaurant. I have been a loyal customer since the day they opened. Very good food, very good service. No other restaurant in this area is comparable to Taylor Kabob’s prices and portion sizes. They have the lentil soup ready all day. Which is great cause you can sit and eat just that with pita bead with zero wait time. Everything on the menu is very fulfilling and delicious.

I went here for some take away, the food was phenomenal and the portions were great. I ordered the small order of Shrimp Gallaba and the Baba Ghanoush. The seasoning on the shrimp was extremely flavourful. The lentil soup included in the meal was also excellent. Baba Ghanoush was really good too, had a nice bite to it from the fresh garlic. The toum sauce was in my top 3 ever tried.
Service was great, the employees were nice and super chill. I highly recommend anyone to come and eat here, because I think I will be coming here more often.

Food was decent but not amazing. The chicken and rice portions were fair, and the spices had a nice kick, but the meat was a bit dry and could’ve been more flavorful. The salad was fresh and colorful, but overall presentation felt a bit rushed.
Service was quick and friendly, though packaging could be improved—some items got a bit soggy by the time I opened it. Not bad for a casual lunch, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
Would give it another try, hoping for a little more consistency next time.
Too many small small containers for a lunch.

Giving them a two because when I first started eating here, their food was delicious. You got a lot for your money. Now, with my recent order the food looked like something I wouldn’t want my dog eating. I couldn’t believe it. Fries was cold and full of grease and look at the chicken. They charged extra for what? I don’t even know! The food was not worth it. Im disappointed cause I love their lentil soup & Fattoush salad. They lost a customer. I’m really disappointed.

Only the very best Ma n Pa Middle Eastern Food Downriver, has hundreds of regular customers. We’ve been a dozen plus times to eat inside the quaint dining room. They do a mega amount of take out business from open till close. Dad a Master Chef with decades of experience, Mom runs front of house and adding her special recipes. Ordered our favorite platter for 2 truly feed’s 4 easy, lots of leftovers. The platter be Kafta, Chicken Tawook, Lamb Kabob, Chicken Breast on a bed of Rice with veggies. Also Hummus, Toum, Tahini, Fatoush Salad and Bread. She added a bowl of Lentils Soup for the Win. Such a sweet couple treating all customers like family. Great busy location on Ecorse road in Taylor, you really must try.
