This place is good if u are new to Indian food! I ordered Kati roll which I have had many times. It was sweet and lacked flavor but portion is good size. This is an objective review. Everyone should try the place and decide for themselves. I also noticed they use a lot of food coloring which I don’t when I cook at home. Their pics also show the food coloring it’s not yellow like Turmeric. I know what Indian food should taste like since I’m a foodie! Food should touch your soul everytime we eat out that’s just my opinion others may think differently but I’m entitled to my opinion.

Firangi provided delicious, fresh, fragrant food for a large group meal and provided the order in trays for easier serving. The owner was highly communicative via text to ensure the order was correct, from quantity, to serving trays, to spice level, and pick up time. Everything was ready on time and they helped load into my car. Everyone loved the food! Pictured is aloo gobi, veg tikka, pakak paneer (yum!!!), raita, chili sauce, and rice. This is my favorite Indian cuisine in Portland, for my own dining and now for catering, too! Thanks, friends!

This was my first time trying genuine indian food. I literally made my mother stop the car to go and see all the food trucks and out of all of the options my stomach chose indian food. Im a chicken lover and can handle some spice so I chose the chicken curry with medium spice and man I was genuinly so mind blown and still am. Im still craving that tingly delicious spice that comes from that amazing dish and boy let me tell you that food was HOT im talking boiling which was amazing because we had a long drive ahead. The garlic naan was cooked perfectly as well as the rice, the chicken curry man I could literally move to India and become questionably addicted to indian food.
Also I forgot the mans name who served me but both him and the very nice lady were so helpful and very kind. Also the food came very fast for how amazing it tasted and how hot it was.

This is hands down the best Kathi roll I have had in Portland. They make the paratha fresh to wrap it up in. Most delicious, fresh, beautiful combination of flavors. 10/10. I high fived the chef!

Va va voom. My sweet friend and I decided to order in in celebration of the New Year. We flipped a coin on whether to go here or to another Indian spot, and y’all, I cannot stress enough how lucky my friend and I are to have found ourselves on this side of culinary reality. When it comes to Indian food (or food period) in Portland we have not had better in our combined two decades living here. As you can see in our photos, we ordered multiple dishes. We asked the friendly man at the window what was a “must try”. He asked if we liked creamy, to which we gave a resounding yes. Then he recommended the butter chicken. We ordered sampler style, encouraged by the beautiful display of each of their dishes to try new things. While we waited, I all but chugged a very yummy mango lassi.

So, the empty palette in the photos was the butter chicken, which was drinkable to say the least. I wanted to shower in it. A beautiful orange color with tender chicken. Definitely the star of the show, but all the other dishes we ordered were brilliant. The rice was great and the naan was soft and garlicky, not to mention wrapped delicately. First time having this place and absolutely not the last. I pray that Firangi Dhaba sticks around, but I am unashamed to say I would follow them to the end of the Earth. Many thanks to the chef for giving me and my friend such a warm welcome to the New Year.

At other Indian spots I usually go for the tikka masala, but I have yet to order it here because they have so many good curries! Vindaloo, curry, and kadai, they all slap. Then there’s the other more creamy options like the tikka masala, butter masala, korma. I like you can mix and match with the different proteins too. Great spot to get your curry fix

First time here. Delicious. I ordered extra spicy, and they delivered: hot, full of flavor, great texture. It’s a food cart in a court with outdoor, semi-outdoor, and indoor dining areas.

Loved my visit to this place! Got the butter chicken and garlic naan, just to see. I asked for it spicy. It wasn’t too hot, but I have a high heat tolerance. Can’t wait to go back!

We love the samosa chat, which the folks are kind enough to prepare vegan for us by omitting the yogurt and the mint chutney (which I guess has some dairy?). Delicious food, quick and reliable service, friendly people. 5 stars. Thanks!

This is by far our new favorite cart. We’ve gone back almost a dozen times and tried nearly half of the menu. We’ve yet to have something we didn’t love. It’s actually getting difficult to order because every new thing we try is another thing we say we need to order again. The spices and flavors are spot on. Chicken and lamb are perfectly tender. Hard to go wrong.
