I’ve been here a few times and I can’t believe I have yet to review. I love the decor, so may funny signs and roosters just hanging out. Service is phenomenal, this last waiter we had was top tier! I wish I could remember his name. Food 10/10! Smoked chicken, fried chicken, catfish was bomb!!! Side, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, gravy, even the salad was amazing! Biscuits bomb also. ( sides are unlimited also) Hands down one of my favorite places to eat dinner at. My family enjoyed themselves and we all gained a few pounds.

Family loves to eat here! I’m a vegetarian & I even leave full. Helpful hint to any vegetarians out there, let them know you’re vegetarian and they’ll just charge you for a “veggie plate”. It’s cheaper and that way you’re not paying for something you don’t eat!

Enjoyed the atmosphere and simplicity here. Menu has 6 main courses and the sides are unlimited. By far enjoyed the chicken tenders the best. The catfish/steak/ wings were all okay as well but the tenders came out so crispy and not too greasy. It tasted pretty fresh and not too heavy like other tenders.

My favorite restaurant in Dallas. Both the fried chicken and the smoked chicken are delicious. I especially love the sides, the corn and the green bean. The service is friendly and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming.

My first visit. The weight wasn’t that long for a Saturday night. The service was friendly I would say probably not attentive enough for me with refills. They were a few and far between.
The quality of the food was outstanding portions are a bit small. You’ll get refills but they just take time. That’s not fun when you’re waiting for refills and you’re hungry and you wanna eat.
I mean when you have five full grown men and you bring two bowls of mashed potatoes each with a couple spoon full of mashed potatoes that’s not gonna last long lol.
I like the ambience there and the restrooms were very very clean. Thank you. It was a bit noisy for me. We couldn’t hear each other talk.

I loved it! It’s a nice and pleasant restaurant, the ambiance is nice and I liked the food in general. The variety and flavors of the appetizers were good. I recommend you to go here very hungry, my mind was stuck on what I couldn’t eat 🙂 The prices are a bit high for chicken, but I think they can be considered normal with the by-products. The staff were polite and helpful. The restroom was clean (this is important for me)

I wish I could eat here every weekend. All the food is amazing!! Starting with the simple delicious salad to the fried chicken and smocked chicken are so so good. The catfish is perfect and the all you can eat sides. My girl loves loves the sweet corn and mash potatoes. The vibe is so fun. The music takes you way back and makes you want to get up and dance.

Delicious chicken and catfish. All the sides you can eat. Chicken fried steak, fried chicken, smoked chicken, chicken tenders and catfish are your protein choices. Salad, corn, green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy are all never ending sides that are all included with your meal.

Great southern food. All you can eat sides and delicious hand, breaded, chicken, and fish. The salad and biscuits are delicious. They bring those out as an appetizer. This is a really good southern food experience, very country style and hospitable.

My partner kept telling me about this place and how amazing the “fried chicken” is here! He was not telling a story! The food is absolutely amazing.. some of the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life. You order a half chicken or a whole chicken. Then they bring the side out in what’s called a family dinning. Everyone shares the sides. Every food item that I put into my mouth was bursting with flavor and tasted homemade! It was SOOOO DELICIOUS! Don’t forget to take home the homemade “banana pudding” it melts in your mouth it’s so good! Customer service was a little rough at first by the greeters and cashier. Neither one smiled or acted like they were happy to be there. Our server was amazing. She was knowledgeable of the menu, friendly, and helpful! The price is high.. I always say.. you get what you pay for! Give them a try.. You will leave fat and sassy!
