Loved our visit to Ushin House!
Our waiter was incredible and provided us an experience from preparing the table for us and providing hot towels to checking in with us during the meal.
The private room was fantastic and we loved that we could focus on each other instead of being surrounded by a crowd. Our food was delicious and presented beautifully.
We finished spending under $140 for 1 appetizer, 1 order of two sushi rolls, 2 entrees, and 1 shared dessert .

This is an underrated restaurant. I get it might be more pricey than most are used to, but the attentive service, the quality of food, the presentation, and the private rooms elevate the experience. It’s worth every penny. My only recommendation would be classier menus.

My husband was obsessed with the taste and quality of the sushi. It was very beautiful but I wasn’t too impressed … i ordered the crab salad and it was the size of maybe 2 table spoons on a massive plate.. Don’t get me wrong it wasnt bad it just wasnt worth double the price everyone else charges…We have so much good sushi on long island and for half the price. I literally ended up spending 100 bucks and still needed to stop at mcdonalds on the way home. Servings were small but for a special occasion I would definitely go back if it’s just my husband and I.

Hidden Gem. I had no idea this place even existed. Stumbled upon it on a Saturday after working a union family event. Food was phenomenal. Service was exceptional. I sat at the bar and they were training a new bartender. Even with a trainee, the service was still top notch and atmosphere was great. Spoke with another patron at the bar during the meal and drinks. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area or looking for a new sushi spot to hit up!

Have been w/ a friend for drinks and apps but took my son and sat down for an amazing meal. Started with the crispy rice tuna appetizer, and wow—it was absolutely delicious! The crispy rice had the perfect crunch, balanced by the fresh, flavorful tuna on top. Each bite was packed with texture and taste, making it one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had.My son had the miso soup which he said was perfect.
For the main course, I had the ribeye, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Every bite melted in my mouth, and the seasoning was spot on.
The drinks were just as impressive as the food—beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. Each cocktail was as stunning to look at as it was to sip.
The service was top-notch…..attentive and friendly staff who always makes sure everything is perfect. If you’re looking for an amazing dining experience with exceptional food, drinks, and ambiance, Ushin is an absolute must-visit. I have been back many times and enjoyed various items like the wonderful Hibachi and different rolls.

Really excellent sushi that you have to be OK paying a big premium for. They seem to have recognized the price issue and now are offering $30 back on next bill for every $100 spent. I’ll at least go back on a Monday when every other sushi option in Islip shuts down! Drinks shouldn’t be as expensive as they are but my martini did have the best olives I have ever had in my life.
