This is my family’s favorite Mexican restaurant! We are so excited that they are growing and will be moving to a bigger space soon.
My three children typically pick this place when given the option to choose where we eat. There is something for everyone, and we all leave happy and satisfied.
My go-to is typically the street tacos (watch the sauce that comes on the side, as it is very spicy (but delicious)). However, I’ve recently been exploring the menu and have found other entrees that I’ve added to my list of favorites. The cost is very reasonable, too.
Last time we ate there, I left a set of keys and realized it a couple days later. Fortunately, the restaurant owner found them, held them at the front, and we were able to retrieve them.
Thus, we are very grateful for the friendly and caring staff as well as the wonderful food. The fact that we are supporting a locally owned business is also a big plus!

We recently moved to piney flats and was really hoping this place would be good since it was close, we went the first time, our experience however was awful. Our server was rude, barely ever checked on us and acted like they couldn’t be bothered and just wanted us to leave. The food was okay not great not terrible. We then left and didnt go for months. After we had a very personal life experience we decided to call in 2 orders of rice and shrimp. They didnt tell us the total over the phone. I get to the store for pickup. Once again they just seemed annoyed and for just those two orders of rice and shrimp and 1 order if queso, the total was 48$. I was annoyed , but i said whatever paid my bill and went home. I get home finally ready to eat and they didnt even include the queso i paid for and the food was mediocre. I will never go back. Overpriced. Rude. And lazy.

The food was actually worse than I could make at home, but the staff were so friendly and quick. It was nice to hang out with my friend, but I would never eat there again. Also, their water did not taste potable.

Got the texason nachos which comes with chicken , steak and shrimp, bc it said it came with no veggies (lettuce, tomato or nasty guacamole) opened the lid and it was all on it. Had to scrap it all off. It is delicious tho! It took forever to be waited on to get our order taken. They were busy but shud have have someone running register and stuff instead of the waitress staff. Atmosphere is always festive here tho.

I don’t understand why you name the place los jalapeños when there is nothing on the menu with jalapeños or any other spice. That’s why I go to a Mexican restaurant. The salsa tastes like tomatoes. The staff did the bare minimum. At least for 5.99, the cheese dip was decent.

Let’s begin with leave your kids at home if they’re going to run through the restaurant screaming and gargling their drink ( these were employees children)
I ordered a burrito and asked that they omit the meat and green peppers and substitute them with extra beans and rice… The burrito was stuffed with these cooked onions probably 3 inches long and next to impossible to cut through… I barely ate half… When the waitress (Ally) asked if I wanted a box I scrunched my face and said no… She completely ignored the opportunity to ask what was wrong and offer to substitute it for something else or adjust the bill… Got to the register and actually said the words… Told the cashier it was practically inedible listing the same reasons as above .. she replied I could have ordered a smaller burrito… I said what does a smaller burrito have to do with what I am telling you? … Then she says… Well .. you should have ordered it with no onions… Like I was supposed to know they cooked their onions until they were like trying cut through a rubber band and they would be the size of pasta … It was awful and no one was the least bit concerned about my dissatisfaction… Just took my payment (without
a tip and I normally tip over 20%) and left from behind the register… I eat here pretty frequently… Time to find somewhere else to go…

I’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. The chorizo queso is amazing! Their margaritas are solid – well balanced (i.e. not just sour mix) with enough alcohol, but not overboard. And their different dishes have all been great! The Pollo Picoso is my favorite, nice and spicy!
6/16/2022 Update: Still awesome! Hopefully people get back to working though, as they’re going through some challenging staffing issues. The food was still great!
