I love Japanese food and wanted to try our new restaurant in Berea .
I called my order in and picked it up .
Upon arrival , the restaurant was extremely clean and smelled wonderful !
The staff was friendly and professional .
I had the hibachi steak and shrimp . The steak was delicious and the shrimp , reminded me of being on the gulf , at a seafood restaurant !
The veggies were fresh and good.
The crab ragoon was wonderful , and the Boston Roll sushi was outstanding !
If I could give more than 5 stars I would .

Pretty dang good. I’d take this over a gold star every day of the week. Got the fried chicken and rice, Lexington roll, jasmine tea and the strawberry shake(smoothie?) I’m a bit of a tea snob and was disappointed by the tea. I don’t think my “high standards” should degrade that it was okay.

Each time I have tried the food it was amazing, both dine in and carry-out. Have tried hibachi vegetables, chicken noodles and beef ramen; all delicious. Staff are friendly and professional. Everything is clean and tidy. Atmosphere isn’t too bright or too loud. Highly recommend.

The food is delicious but this is the third time I’ve ate here and all 3 times I ended up sick on the toilet all night long. Didn’t post the other two times because I thought maybe I was already sick or perhaps it’s just a coincidence, but tonight it happened again and it was the worse of the 3 times. Maybe I have a weak stomach but Idk. I probably won’t eat there again and it’s sad because the food is delicious!!

I took a chance and did a pick up order here today and all I can say is WOW…. The food was so fresh! I got the chicken fried rice with yum yum sauce and crab rangoons. Rangoon’s were nice and crispy with wonderful flavor but the sweet chilli sauce with them was amazing. Chicken fried rice had wonderful flavor! Everything tasted so fresh and was nice and warm. Serving sizes are huge and very filling!

Do not eat here me and my husband both are sick as dogs from the food. The chicken was dry and rice was mushy veg was raw and fried dumplings was so hard wasn’t able to eat .The yum sauce was good and the place was clean and staff was nice . But we are both so sick we had sushi and fried dumplings and chicken hibachi.. Never again

The food blew me away, definitely some of the best hibachi I’ve ever had. They’ve got a huge menu with tons of options, and I’m told they’ll even have ramen soon. I got the scallops and they were amazing, highly recommended.
The staff was also super nice, answered my questions about the menu, and came to ask how the food was after we had some. I had a great experience here and I’ll be coming back every time I’m in Berea.

You can never go wrong when you eat at any Koi Express. And this newest location is no different.
Even when it’s their Grand Opening, they look like seasoned restaurateur so busy time is not a problem for them
Got Steak Hibachi and my kids got couple of rolls and they all delicious!!
