Such a shame this place put aside the “world famous” recipe of the original owner, that so many of the older reviews raved about, in favor of cheap “Broaster” chicken – based out of Wisconsin. You can find the gas station “Broaster Express” chicken anywhere. The iconic bland flavor, or lack of, has replaced what once was a popular local spot with a recognizable blend of seasonings. After 10 years away from home, it’s sad to see that something I looked forward to has been replaced by something every northern gas station has too.

This is a quaint, older restaurant located right of the main highway I Basile. I wanted a cheeseburger and let me just say it was nostalgic. I haven’t had a burger homemade a d seasoned to perfection in a very long time. I’ll definitely be going there again when I’m hungry for a burger.
