A very spur of the moment to visit this restaurant for dinner. But the food, honestly, one of the best thai food I have had in a long time. The perfect amount of kick of spices.

We ordered the thai calamari and prawn tempura for starters and had chicken green thai curry with jasmine rice, and chicken Kow Soi. Fair to say, it was amazing! The food was really nice. The staff were very sweet as well.

Loved it.

Rodfai is hands-down my go to Thai restaurant, and for good reason! The food is the real deal – absolutely authentic, bursting with flavour, and made with so much love that you can taste it in every bite. The ambience is warm and welcoming, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the chefs? Magicians in the kitchen!

Honestly, it doesn’t get much better than this. Everything on the menu is incredible, but I have to give a special shoutout to my personal favourites:
Laab Gai (a zesty chicken salad that’s refreshing and addictive
Kee Mao Gai (flat noodles with chicken and veggies, perfectly spicy and so satisfying)
Kra Pow Gai (stir-fried holy basil chicken that’s pure comfort in a dish along with Jasmine rice!)
Tom Yum Seafood (a tangy, fragrant broth loaded with mixed seafood – an explosion of flavours).
Nearly forgot to mention the Som Tum (sweet or spicy to your taste, Papaya salad with Sticky Rice!).
Each dish is to die for – I always end up over-eating here. This food is honestly better than what I’ve had in many places in Thailand!

And a special shoutout for their cocktails – they’re fantastic. Honestly, you could spend an entire evening here sipping, snacking, and just soaking in the vibe. Rodfai is a true gem of a place, and I I’d highly recommend it to folks who’re looking for authentic Thai food.

A must visit restaurant, I have been twice in two months and I have to say I can’t fault it at all. The staff are very accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful, the food is so so delicious, I asked for a curry to have a lot of spice, they held no prisoners, they gave a challenge and it was so spicy and delicious. My girlfriend doesn’t like spice and really loved the noodles she ordered. We were there last night and ordered starters with my friends, again incredible and next level. A must visit and highly recommended.

What’s wonderful about this Thai restaurant is you can try dishes from many regions of Thailand. I spotted some dishes that you don’t necessarily find in other Thai restaurants.

The service was gentle and helpful.

I went on a Sunday lunch time and it wasn’t hectic. The atmosphere was relaxing and unhurried.

I wen to Rodfai Thai Street Food on 30 Oct 2025 with my 2 friends. We were there once before, it was ok, though nothing special. As our favourite restaurant near by was very busy for lunch, we decided not to wait for a table and to go to Thai. The restaurant was completely empty, 2 person as staff, one cooking something in the „open view”kitchen. We ordered traditional Thai meals: one Karen Goong, two Pad Thai Chai Ya and some jasmin rice. No alcoholic drinks, just sparkling water. All three portions were distasteful, not fresh, felt like warmed up already several times. We all could feel that in our stomachs for several hours later, despite eating only some of served meals. At least the service was polite, but for £62.49 one can expect more. I am very surprised that this place has such a high rate, as in my opinion it deserves one, maybe two stars, in any. Name „Thai Street Food” is very misleading, so is a person pretending to be preparing fresh food in the kitchen. Maybe we were just unlucky that day, but non of us is willing to have another go in there. There are many places in Ealing – Acton area worth going to, even if I have to wait several minutes for a table.

I ordered Vegetarian Pad thai today. There were hardly any vegetables in it, the taste was bland. It looked like boiled rice noodles packed on a box. They charged ~15 pounds for this box. Overpriced.

Had dinner here last night and absolutely loved it!!! The flavours were amazing. I love Thai food and I’ve been to loads of Thai restaurants in London, but I think this one is my new favourite. Service was great, the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is also lovely. Will definitely be returning soon!
