There’s plenty of open seating and room for your guests. The appetizers came out quickly, and the pizza came out shortly after that. The crust was crispy and thin as advertised. It tasted great and wasn’t messy. All three of my guests orders were correct and I was happy with their meal.
The restaurant and drink station were very clean. We did not see any messes left on tables or other guests that weren’t cleaned up after. The staff had stopped by a couple of times to ask us how things tasted and pick up some of our empty plates. Great service.
This is my first time visiting this area and my first time coming to this location. If you’re in the mood for a great pizza stop by!
This experience was not as good as the first. Maybe they were having an off day?
The meatballs were a skip for me. It felt like they had been cooking for too long and aren’t very flavorful.
The large pizza we ordered did not seem fully cooked. I’m hoping this was a one time issue. If on my return visit it’s the same I’ll change the star rating.
Service remained at 5 star level
Previous review….
Had one of the most personable experiences at a pizza joint in my life.
The owner and one other employee was working. You could tell they had a great night. It was steady and busy with takeout the entire time we were there.
We tried a number of items.
Garlic knots 4 stars
Texture was great on them
Cheesy bread 5 stars
That cheese pull though
Stuffed ravioli 4.5 stars
They made it with ricotta and mozzarella i think he said?
Spicy chicken pizza (with pineapple) 4 stars but might be higher
So I didn’t get to this one until it was cold. So it might have been a higher rating.
White pizza 4 stars
I loved the cheesiness but it lacked some garlic flavor. I say this because my friend who suggested we go told us it’s so packed with garlic are almost couldn’t eat it the ghost time, so not sure if it’s a consistency issue.
Meat lovers 5 stars
This was our groups favorite
Cannolis
this is up for debate, for me a 4 star, but at the same time it might be a 5? Im not a huge fan of cannolis, but my friends thought it was one of the better ones out there
Service was 5 stars with the friendliness. The owner went out of his way to chat with us.
Parking is available in a large lot outside.
We also got the meat pizza, veggie pizza and a cheese basil pizza that everyone enjoyed.
With hope still left for the pizza, we were sadly met with yet another disappointment. The pizza that came straight out of the oven (we dined in) was extremely soggy on the bottom, the pizza only had pepperoni on one side so there is no justification to blame the toppings for the soggy bottom. The crust was flavorless and not crunchy.
When we asked the staff initially to make our pizza crispy they informed us they were not allowed to, and even threatened with termination if they did.
To conclude, it seems Frank’s pizzeria has lost their soul and purpose behind making great NY styled pizza and has unfortunately lost us as customers.
Pizza
Served warm not hot. Sausage is shaved thin low on ingredients. Taste was good service was good
