We arrived right after they had just opened for brunch. The hosts greeted us with a warm welcome and asked us where we preferred to sit. We suggested a booth which they had two choices. As we wanted more room which was a longer booth. We decided on a table with a high back dining chairs by the window over looking Peachtree Rd. The host turn out to be our waitress which she was very helpful with the different beverages, chef specials, appetizers and favorite dishes on the menu. We chose the grits bowl which you can choose your protein. She recommended the chicken skillet which was a huge portions that came with two thighs and a big cornbread cake. The 3 protein omelet with potatoes was cooked to protection. The blueberry spread pancakes was delicious as well. I will be coming back for dinner. This restaurant has a very nice elegant ambiance. I’m sure this place is very pack during the summer.

We came here to celebrate my best friend’s 27th birthday with a group of friends, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. Our server, Shannon, went above and beyond in every possible way. She made us feel so welcome and taken care of, and her energy truly elevated the entire night. Our experience was so great that we couldn’t stop talking about it all weekend!
My best friend even said it was the best birthday she’s had in a long time, which says everything. On top of the amazing service, the food and drinks were incredible—everything was delicious and beautifully done. We will definitely be back and hope to have Shannon again!

We had a very enjoyable dinner at The Southern Gentleman. I’d say they deserve a strong four-star rating, verging on five-stars. Everything we ordered can be lumped into 3 categories:
Five-Star (Excellent/Very Good):
Braised Short Rib “Pot Roast” – amazingly tender and flavorful
Sweet Potato Cornbread – so pleasantly sweet… could’ve been dessert!
Pork Belly Burnt Ends – top notch, exceptional flavor and texture
Four-Star (Very Good/Good):
12oz NY Strip – good robust taste
12oz Berkshire Porkchop – great flavor but could be juicier
Mocktails (strawberry lemonade and blackberry elixir) – very refreshing
Smores Chocolate Cake – Quite rich, just the way I like it
Three-Star (Average):
White Cheddar Hushpuppies – just OK, I’ve had much better
Jiana also provided us with great service. We’ll be back soon!

My visit to The Southern Gentleman was everything that I hoped it would be. The restaurant is gorgeous and the service that I received was immaculate. My server, Audrey, was super attentive, professional and very friendly. I also had the pleasure of meeting John, the general manager, who was extremely polite and helpful.
I am a true southerner but I thoroughly enjoyed the modern twist on the Parmesan Chicken (Chicken Paillard) dish that I devoured . The chicken was juicy, the green beans were crispy and paired well with the sauce that was truly a bite of deliciousness! The dish was filling but I had to try dessert. I had Bourbon Caramel Pecan bread pudding that was a bit stiffer than I prefer yet still delightful. I will certainly return and I’m hoping for an equally lovely experience.

Excellent restaurant, please ask for Sharise (Sharissa) she was attentive, knowledgeable and so inviting! We went there for my man’s birthday and had a lovely evening! I highly recommend the steak! It was excellent!

We had a three couples outing which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The Buckhead location was great. The restaurant was top shelf. The service was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious, and we were able engage in conversation without straining our voices. One of the most impressive points was how efficient the service was for our meal delivery. The food was freshly prepared but delivered in what I think is record time for this type of restaurant. They spoiled us with exceptional delivery and quality. Four out of the six of us took the recommendation from our awesome hostess, Sheree (Sp,?) to go with their top selling favorite, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. It came with collard greens and sweet potato cornbread. The meat was two pieces of chicken thighs. I loved the fact that there were no bones in it. The portion sizes were large but not too much. We all shared appetizers (fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, and hush puppies). The deviled eggs were my favorite app. I have to go back for the half roasted chicken next time, which my friend had. The short rib looked amazing as well. We also had a side order of the Mac and cheese. It was delicious too. Overall, I give a 10 of 10 and recommend you going here for a date night or friends outing. Price is in line with a nicer restaurant tier. You will enjoy for sure.

Our food was very good and filling. We also had a great waitress, so I wish I could remember her name. Be sure to book a reservation. But a bit of advice, do not get the mimosa flight. The champagne tasted like Brut, and not prosecco like we requested.

Oaked and Rendered cocktail, deviled eggs, and desserts are must haves. The white cheddar hushpuppies are good, but I would try the pimento hand pies instead of ordering them again. Mac and cheese is delish, but perhaps not worth $15. Fried chicken is on point. Pot roast is… “we don’t have to mention that” (from my husband) – taste was fine, surprisingly small portion for the price.
