I had the best, super juicy chicken mandi at Kushi Restaurant today. The chicken was really tasty and full of flavor . Honestly, I feel like the taste has changed a lot compared to the last time I ate their mandi last month. I highly recommend the mandi, it’s the best in the overland park

The prices written on the menu often do not match the prices charged at checkout, and this has happened many times, not just once.
Whenever I ask about it, the answer is always the same: “The prices were changed recently, sorry, we will update the menu soon.” Sometimes they say the old price was part of a promotion and they forgot to change the menu. When this keeps happening again and again, it feels very unfair.
One night experience really affected me. I went late and carried only the exact cash according to the menu prices. At billing time, they suddenly said the total was $1 more. In that moment, I felt embarrassed and stuck. I couldn’t say, “I don’t have one more dollar.”
Apple Pay saved me, but I keep thinking — what if I didn’t have Apple Pay? What would I have done?
If they had said something kind like, “It’s okay, you can pay next time,” or “No problem,” it would have shown understanding. Instead, the customer is forced to pay extra because of their pricing mistake.
When they say, “It’s just $1,” it hurts. This is not about the money. It is about trust, honesty, and self-respect. No customer should feel blamed or uncomfortable without any fault.
They also charge 9.36% sales tax. I understand this is legal and their choice, but many restaurants don’t charge this much. I’m mentioning this only so people are aware.
Please carry extra cash if you come here, especially if you are the kind of person who doesn’t want to feel uncomfortable or blamed inside yourself without any mistake.

This was a self service restaurant, we were group of 7, we ordered chicken biryani, kushi spl chicken appetizer, karampodi chicken, goat biryani, chicken curry and naan basket. The portions were small but the taste was good. We ordered spicy and I got too many chillis in the biryani, I wasn’t expecting chillis but otherwise the food was really good. I know it’s a self service restaurant but they should have checked if our tables were clean or not( they weren’t).

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The food was cooked to perfection just like indian meal taste, and bursting with flavor. The dessert especially (jilebi, rasmalai) selection complemented the meal beautifully. The staff was knowledgeable and passionate about the food. An unforgettable experience! I had a great experience at Kushi restaurant. The cashier girl genuinely stood out—her smile was welcoming, and she handled everything quickly and efficiently without missing a beat. She was clearly multitasking and managing things smoothly, which made the whole process easy and pleasant.
The food was good, and a big plus is that the restaurant stays open until 12 AM, which is really convenient. Overall, solid food, great service, and excellent late-night availability.

Great little late night Indian fast food, We enjoyed the Tikki Masala a lot, great flavor, my friend like her Chicken Briyani- spicy! Butter chicken was ok, we were used to the other place taste, it is a bit more sour here. Butter Nan was wonderful. I think the mango lassi could be colder? Overrall was a great experience, very helpful staff, maybe more pictures on the online menu? We like to try other dishes, but not sure what to expect without the pictures. Also, it was sad to see how many customers trashed that place not help keeping the area clean, it is a self service after all.
