I’m embarrassed to admit I know my way around a burger. For years I’ve been on the hunt for an unbeatable taste. I *think* I may have found it! I order the standard burger, add blue cheese and lemon-basil mayo. That’s it. The patty is perfectly seasoned, tender, and the brioche bun, lightly toasted (on the outside!!) is a gluten-lover’s ecstasy.
The owners know all the regulars’ names, the wait staff are super friendly and efficient, and overall I like the neighbour vibe. The ONLY reason I gave atmosphere 3/5 is because I do wish it had booths and was a little more cosy like a Scottish Pub. Shout out to Brendan, Nicole and Aidan for making me always feel welcomed!

Just picked up wings and what a disappointment. TT used to be the best place for wings in Vic but it looks like they’ve had a consultant review the books to make things more profitable….now the wings are comically small. I’m not even sure where you’d find birds this small! Don’t think you’re buying a ‘pound of wings’, not even close.

I have been told that this place had good wings. They didn’t disappoint. Friendly service, the food arrived quickly. I enjoyed the space, had a chill vibe with a fun playlist.

I ordered a classic bacon cheeseburger, spicy chicken wings, and fries — everything was freshly made and delicious. The burger was juicy with melted cheese and a soft bun. Wings had a nice kick to them, and the fries were crispy and not greasy at all. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Great place for a casual bite!

Disappointment 🙁
I used to go to this place when it was maybe under old ownership? A Scottish guy ran the Tartan Touque, and also the Shine Cafe. When I walked in, all the character was gone inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, no more old booths and colourful walls and quirks – it now looks like a white spot. No one there, just a couple local boomers. The guy working there was nice though. He was sad when I made the White Spot comment but I was just being honest.
The wings used to be juicy and plump, with awesome flavours and sauces. Now they’re overcooked, extremely small, and the portion was a joke and just the worst wings I’ve ever had. They were also a complete rip off (even in these costly times). Cost me over $20 bucks. Check the pics to see for yourself.

GLUTEN FREE deliciousness!! This place has a lot of passion and you can tell the staff have so much heart and love with what they do. Gluten free eats and treats like this are hard to find, so I can appreciate the extensive offerings and menu options. They can pretty much make everything gluten free (excluding wraps). The boneless wings are heavenly and I love that the batter isn’t heavy and thick – it’s perfectly done. So amazing to have a fried pickle option too, and there are so many more items I’d love to try. Keep doing what you do as this is a hidden gem that deserves to stay open forever! I also appreciate that the gluten free bakery is two doors down. Great location and can’t wait to go back.

Was a bit disappointed with the wing Wednesday deal. The deal is buy one pound get the second half off which is just over $30 dollars… not much a of a deal. The service was friendly and it was decently busy. The wings were a bit dry and the sauce was a bit watery.

Epic service and really good food. Great prices too. We were a group of 24 people and the restaurant could not have been more accommodating. I had the cheesy chili fries (a really big portion, more than I could eat). My friends had chicken wings and calamari and deep-fried pickles, all gluten free. One of the most pleasant dining-out experiences I’ve had in a long time. You need to treat yourself.

This is a hidden gem! Try not to tell too many people. Friendly staff. Local beer. And best of all the food is outstanding. Good parking and you can see the cook from your seat. Nearly forgot to mention they don’t play annoying pop music. The music is very chill and it’s at a reasonable volume. Also there are extra napkin dispensers on every table!!!
