There is so much we could say about Scarsella’s. Service was attentive, friendly, and quick. Atmosphere was what we had hoped for a family-owned Italian restaurant with a long-standing history in Youngstown.
And most importantly, the food – absolutely fantastic! Homemade pasta and ravioli were the best we’d ever had. We will be back the next time we are in town!

enjoyed the chicken parmesan. I didn’t eat the salad that came with it, but I did have noodles left over once the chicken was finished. The sauce was slightly tart, but overall it was a good meal. I would rate it an 8/10.

Oh my! The homemade pasta was wonderful. The best meatballs I’ve ever had and I love meatballs. The veal Parm was so crispy, even under the wonderful sauce. The food came out very hot not lukewarm. They even have a gluten free pasta option! I’ll be back to try different items!

Went here today with family today! Grandma passed away and this was her favorite spot! There was almost 30 of us. We had two servers, a guy and a girl. They did absolutely FANTASTIC! They were so cheery and helpful! Such a great time! I got the gluten free penne and it was bomb. 10/10 recommend Thank you Scarsella’s

This place is kinda easy to miss, it has an older style atmosphere, and the tables and seats are ok, but the food is incredible.
You will not be disappointed with the service or food. I have been there a few times now and have left happy and full, with leftovers to boot. 1000% recommend the fried cheese.

I usually don’t like to leave bad reviews for places but when the shoe fits….I Stopped in on my lunch break to try a new place. They weren’t too busy but it was very small and had too many tables in such a small space. I ordered a beverage and a fish sandwich and added cheese. The sandwich does not come with fries or chips. My bill for a drink and a sandwich was $15 and some change! They have a menu that’s priced like we’re in New York and it’s Youngstown. I did receive 2 slices of bread as an appetizer that came in an unlined plastic basket?? When I went to check it seemed as if the staff were all oblivious to any customer activity. I waited at the host stand for over 4 mins while I watched the younger girl working there play on her phone and the other guy just rambling away at the kitchen staff.

Nice little family owned restaurant with very good food. I tried the chicken Parm with the vodka sauce. I like that it comes with shells as the pasta instead of spaghetti noodles like most other places.
