They answer the phone as Tacoma Burger Company and say they are open. We drive 30 min for the food challenge they advertise and find out it’s not actually Tacoma Burger Company at all, it’s Grit City Breakfast and there is no food challenge. The bartender had no idea what we were talking about when we asked about Tacoma Burger Company or the food challenge then charged $5 for a Coke.
Much like the misleading advertising, the place looked nice but smelled awful.

Love this place! It’s grit city breakfast but they change to Tacoma burger company after 1pm. But the cool thing is that you can still order their famous grit city burritos even during lunch hours! You have to try their smash burgers, they’re delicious
