We tried Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Basil Leaf Fried Rice, and Mango Sticky Rice, and everything was excellent. The chicken satay was tender and juicy, and the peanut sauce was creamy and delicious. The Basil Leaf Fried Rice was very good, with a good spice(optional spice level) and fresh basil throughout. There are few other items like Fried Wontons, Curry Puff (this has really unique taste compared to other restaurants which I tried so far). The yellow curry and the 3 flavor curry was outstanding with the combination of coconut milk and spice. We ended our meal with dessert Mango Sticky Rice which was excellent and we literally visited 3 times to the restaurant just for the dessert out of 5 days of our stay in Orlando. The rice soaked in Anchan tea gives it a different taste and color with the perfect amount of coconut milk with sesame seeds and fried moong dal on top of it.
This is the first time I am writing a review for a restaurant and very happy to rate it.
Everything tasted authentic and fresh. Very good and clean ambiance. Must try place for all the Thai cuisine lovers!!

Delicious! I only had Thai food once before from somewhere else. This place is much better! The owner is lovely, the atmosphere is clean and classic. We had chicken pad Thai, Thai style wings, pad see ew. Everything was soo good and quick. Highly recommend! The taro milk tea good and the hibiscus tea is refreshing!

Koon Thai is a small, authentic, family-owned establishment located near the MCO airport. The menu features traditional preparations, notably on my order of Pad Thai, they are utilizing the correct dried, medium-width rice noodles for an authentic texture. I also enjoyed the variety of drinks there. Reasonable pricing for the location. This is a boutique operation with limited seating. It is an excellent choice for those prioritizing culinary quality and authentic Thai ownership over a corporate dining environment. Highly recommended.

Excellent, fresh, tasty and beautifully presented lunch. Started with the Thai House Salad with ginger dressing – enough to share. The vegetable tofu soup in a clear broth was packed with just right vegetables. It looked great and tasted even better. The Thai fried rice was light and delicious. My wife and I are from Michigan and had to stay an extra night in Orlando due to a flight cancellation. We wanted to eat at a local restaurant and decided to try Koon Thai.
We browsed the menu and placed an order for one Tom Yum soup (to share), two Red Curry dishes (with mushrooms added), and a Thai Iced Tea.
When the soup came out we both took a taste and agreed that one soup was not enough to share so we ordered another one. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly spiced. The food presentation and the heart imprinted rice with colorful edible flower was a beautiful addition that added to our experience.
The owners stopped by frequently to check on us and we couldn’t stop praising how great the food tasted.
If I lived in the Orlando area I would be eating here weekly.

★★★★★ Just tried Koon Thai Restaurant and it was outstanding. We started with spring rolls and tom kha soup—both super flavorful. I had Pad Thai with beef and my company had Pad See Ew, and everything tasted as authentic as it gets. Portions were generous and the food was packed with flavor.
A small detail that really impressed me: they serve filtered water—no chlorine taste at all.
Don’t let the facade fool you—this is a true hole-in-the-wall spot where the food makes up for everything. Highly recommend!

Really good and actually spicy Thai food! We did the pad Thai, drunken noodles and red curry. The drunken noodle and curry we did on level 5 and the pad Thai on 4. There definitely was quite the kick to the food so if you like it spicy do 4 or 5 for sure. Everything was delicious and good portions as well. Will for sure be back when in the area again.

This place was amazing. My husband is a chef. So, most of the time when we go out to eat the food is mediocre, and I don’t waste my time writing reviews. This restaurant is worth taking the time to review it. The food was so flavorful and beautiful presented. We just kept ordering more food because we couldn’t get enough of the great taste. Everything we ordered had a unique taste that made your tastebuds so happy and beyond satisfied. Between two people we ordered six dishes and two take out dishes. The service was also great.
Overall I would without a doubt give this restaurant five stars. Can’t wait to come back and try different dishes.

This is one of those restaurants where ratings meets reality. Truly a 5 star restaurant. We went there almost 3:30-4 in the evening… ordered food for dine in. Everything we ordered was superb to look at and taste wise. Truly amazing experience. Ambience as well is great. Must try.
Only thing I will call out… may be it was the odd time we been there… at the counter while paying the bill.. there was no adult and kid wasn’t appropriate to take the bill and when we requested for take out boxes.. it’s like every kid I believe … meaning when they are so much into screens and suddenly some adult ask for something .. kid felt annoyed… that might not be a good thing to do for the restaurant’s own good.

My wife and I visited Koon Thai while looking around at the local places to eat. We were able to be seated immediately nd everything on the menu looked good. We got the drunken noodle and the pad Thai, along with some dumplings as an appetizer. They were all very flavorful and not too spicy. The only issue I had was the mango dessert, which was not what I was expecting it to be, but that is personal preference. For being so close to the airport, this is definitely something that you can Eat as soon as you arrive or right before getting on the plane. Whenever I am in the area, I will return to Koon Thai.
