For dessert, we shared a slice of the Chocolate Fudge Pie, The Boston Cream Pie, and the Key Lime pie. I didn’t care much for the Chocolate Fudge Pie but the Key Lime Pie was simply amazing and I highly recommend it. The atmosphere was elegant, with the staff dressed sharply, though the restaurant was a little on the loud side. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and were seated right away without any wait, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience.
Don’t sleep on the banana cream pie for dessert.
We ordered drinks, a bottle of wine server came back with our drinks and then we ordered appetizers. He took our menus and bring them back after we ate our appetizers and told us we had to hurry to order as the kitchen close at 9:30pm. At this point we were not happy but made our choices quickly and ordered. The server comes back 5 minutes later and now told us if we wanted anything from the bar we had to ordere it now as well because the bar was closing as well…. at this point we were furious we had gone for dinner, spent over $1200 and we’re rushed. We were not expecting to spend this kind of money to be rushed to eat in less than an hour an half. Not the kind of dinner experience we were looking for. We should have been told that kitchen was closing at 9:30pm when we made our reservation for 8:30. Poorly handle.
We will never go back
We returned as promised ( 2 days later) and everything was super consistent! Again Patrick was our server and again he delivered on our expectations, and yet again the food was stellar!We have never experienced such attention to details and service at such a high caliber in any restaurant. I truly hope that the ‘ powers that be’ understand the importance of the role Patrick, and others, play in his/ her dining establishment, especially since competition in the food industry is so rife. Patrick is a gem! As you well know, customer service can make the difference for any service business. Patrick clearly mastered the art of customer service , which proved why we returned so soon. Great food excellent service! If you have not yet visited Joe’s Seafood,Prime Steak & Stone Crab, you must, and when you do request Patrick as your server. You will have the best dining experience!
