First time I’ve been to this place. Very friendly staff, the place is nice and has a cozy atmosphere. The coffee was fresh, and tasted good. They have a lot of breakfast options, and whatever I got was delicious.
The staff were friendly and even brought the food to my table (which they didn’t have to) . It’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with a friend, or get a little work done. They also had plenty of plugs which made it easier to work anywhere within the coffee shop.
I highly recommend Carmela’s to anyone looking for great coffee and an inviting place to unwind.
**Bathroom was very clean even though they only have one unisex one.

Lovely little spot! Came here with my partner on vacation, drawn in by the name. Staff was very kind, and playful when I gave them my name. It was a super groovy atmosphere and interior. It was relaxing and playful, perfect for a brunch date, but there were also plenty of people working with laptops and reading. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a refreshing bite with a homey atmosphere.

Had such a great time here that we had to come twice on our vacation! First time we were just blown away by the food—the shakshuka is incredible—and amazing customer service. We came back again today for some brunch and mentioned it was our anniversary, and assistant manager Jacob brought us a hot brownie on the house. We love it here!!! The locals are lucky to have this place.

Cute cafe however my sugar free vanilla iced coffee had a weird taste to it. It tasted extremely nutty, it was drinkable but not enjoyable. My mom’s shaken espresso was just okay as well.

Great food, great coffee, and such a cozy vibe. We ended up staying way longer than planned — started at a table, moved to the comfy couches, and then finished outside.
Jacob and Natalie were incredibly kind and welcoming. Definitely coming back!

We were served by Natalie and Jacob, and they were both fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything throughout the meal was perfect. Their recommendations were spot on, and they checked in just the right amount without making us feel rushed.
The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pasta dishes really stood out, and the cocktails were crafted perfectly to go along with the meal.
Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. Thanks to Natalie and Jacob for the great service—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Just ok. Male cashier whispers so you can’t hear him. Shaksuka was good, matcha latte was ok. Not a good place for working as there are only 4 seats that have access to an outlet. Place is kind of dirty and there clumps dog hair floating around the room (but no dogs here). Honestly though, Starbucks is a better choice.

No disclosure about credit card fee. Salmon was pale pink which makes me wonder about quality. Peach chamomile tea was rank, so much so that my entire table made an involuntary ‘yuck!’ face when trying it.
Pros: Coffee, turkey sandwich, and avocado madness salad were delicious !!! Atmosphere is nice and I would enjoy spending time here reading or journaling or playing chess with a friend. Also need to try the empanadas – they looked great

If you need a break from Starbucks and Dunkin – try Carmela’s. The coffee is superb – I had a Cortadito and it was perfect. My friend had an iced coffee with coconut milk and also delicious. We shared an avocado toast with arugula and everything but the bagel seasoning – one order was more than enough for the two of us since it came on a very think slice of sour dough bread.
Really nice and will start putting this in the rotation. Next time I will look for a more protein based breakfast item!

This place is a hidden gem. The coffee is truly exceptional, you can taste the high quality of the beans, and just two shots in a small cup are enough to really wake you up. The food is fresh and healthy with lots of great options, and the pastries are just as impressive. There’s a wide variety, but my personal favourite is the nutella croissant, absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful, calm, and perfect for reading or getting work done. It’s always super clean and the service is consistently kind, attentive, and welcoming. I keep coming back, and it never disappoints.
