We travelled home this weekend for some events and decided to have dinner at this location. It was the best decision, hands down. Our service person was Ty. She can teach a Master Class in customer. She was friendly, patient. She asked questions for clarity and answered all of our questions. The order came in parts but each item we ordered was correct. She was attentive to our needs through our entire stay. Ty is indeed the gold standard.

The food was delicious and filling. The atmosphere was on point. We will be back.

Service sucks. Couldn’t get a refill to save my life. Food came out extremely delayed. 4 out of our 5 meals had portions of the orders missing or incorrect. One of the meals were terrible (fish fried extremely hard) we told the waitress, she didn’t even say anything – not even an apology or send the manager our way. We even showed her how majority of the fish was picked over and how the entire other fillet wasn’t even touched – again – nothing. Then she left the dishes on the table, every time she walked by she forgot to bring refills and she never thought to take a dish to clear the table as we finished appetizers and croissants. Mind you – it wasn’t even busy. Recommendation: train your wait staff on conflict resolution and prioritization.

Came back again, great experience, waitress was terrific, food great and reasonable, and my Painkiller was awesome. Signature move with the honey dripping biscuit to start things off. Had the chicken pot pie was delicious!
Finished it off with the chocolate cake and ice cream, out of this world, superb!!

Great concept but as we were finishing the entire kitchen staff walked out, apparently was very hot in the kitchen.
The food we had was very good took quite a while to get it. Had the pineapple sirloin was very good, and chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert which was also very good. The place itself was very nice. Hope they can work out the issues with kitchen staff as I’d like to go back next time I’m there!

Our dine-in experience at Cheddar’s on December 30th was unacceptable from start to finish.

We waited well over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. By that point, all three of us were exhausted and ready to leave. The restaurant was not very busy, yet it felt clearly understaffed or poorly managed. To make matters worse, we watched another couple who sat down just minutes before us order, receive their food, eat, and pay before we ever received ours.

The food quality was just as disappointing as the service. Our croissants were not glazed at all and instead had strings of butter on top, which was unappetizing and far below the standard you’d expect. It was honestly a slap in the face to watch guests who were seated after us receive fresh-looking, properly glazed croissants while ours were clearly not prepared the same way.

I didn’t even complain while we were there because it felt like doing so would have added another 20 minutes to an already unreasonable wait. At that point, we just wanted to leave.

This visit left a very negative impression, and it was far below what I expect from Cheddar’s. Unfortunately, I would not recommend dining at this location based on this experience.

This review in no way is reflection of our server he was amazing and very friendly!

I do not recommend this place.. See captions below the pictures, they tell a story. Our first problem started with our seating. Luckily a server came over and asked if we had been addressed and we told him no, so he went to ask where our server was come to find out no communication because our server was on the other side of the dining room. When we finally got our server, it was a younger kid. He was very nice not very knowledgeable and not very experienced with handling food. Every few minutes a door with bang so loud, I jumped in my heartbeat out of my chest. They did give us the sampler appetizer for free because of the mixup with the seating, but that did not make up for the food. It was horrible. If you value your inners, don’t eat here.

Our dinner started out fine. I was impressed with our server, Andrew H. He seemed on top of it and attentive. Until…. I’ve never been so shocked at a restaurant in my entire life. After traveling from Atlanta with my daughter and her 3 children, hungry and tired, my daughter ordered a side salad with the 3 children’s meals. Discussing this in front of me, I’m a witness to, her being told, sure the price would be he thinks $1.99. My daughter corrected him saying it’s says $2.79 (if I remember correctly) and so it was agreed upon. Fine, everyone ate, they all shared the salad. When she got her bill it was $4 and some change for salad. Asking to have it corrected, Andrew sent the manager to our table, who was horribly abrupt, and it was obvious she was not going to correct the charge. Andrew had already taken her credit card and she asked the manager for her card and the bill. He came back and rudely handed her the card WITHOUT the bill, told her he “saw her eating the salad, too” and wasn’t going to fix the charge. She asked again for her bill to see it and sign it. He came back and ripped the tab up in her face. Saying you don’t need this, you weren’t going to tip me anyway. She was going to tip him, but less than he deserved for her treatment.

I’ve never in my life seen anything like this! After going to the front asking the the manager again, my daughter was shaking, asking for her tab because she did not know what was going to be charged, the manager again was extremely rude to her saying she didn’t need the tab! Finally after giving her the tab we left. I regret leaving a tip on my separate bill, at all.

This was the most unprofessional, repugnant display of behavior I have ever seen in a guest services industry!! Needless to say, we will never patron this establishment again.

I had the best Monte Cristo sandwich! Lots of great items on the menu. Cozy place with a huge aquarium.

Ok. I’m doing fine stars, because the food was good, just not to my tastes. I got the 6 oz steak. Whew! Spices. Overly spiced and spicy hot. Rarely do I send food back, but I did this steak. I asked for just plain steak. Well, the second one came out just a spicy. I’m assuming it’s the marinade. They were very nice about it. I just ate some of my husband’s chicken strips and brought the steak home for him to eat later. Just FYI… way too many spices and too hot for me.

9/7/25 lunch before a movie. We got the grilled white fish. It was really good. Cooked without being dry. Generous portion. I got the green beans… weird. They tasted like they had cinnamon in them? Broccoli cheddar casserole was off.. kind of dry and not very cheesy. Love the croissants. Service was great. Waited about 10 minutes on a Sunday… not bad.

I love cheddars but this is probably my last time eating/ ordering from the Pooler GA location. Every time I order the spinach dip to-go… its half way filled or less than half… so this time I ordered 3…. Jokes on me because its still less than half way filled.. all 3…. I really love their spinach dip too.
