One of the only fast food places left that actually serves food that is not only edible but is actually good. Unsurprisingly there aren’t that many in Texas because no offense but Texans have NO TASTE – I mean they would rather have nasty Whataburger’s than Hardees or Steak & Shake? No Captain D’s? IHOP’s all over the place but not a single Waffle House to be found ANYWHERE? Chick-Fil-A is no longer even anywhere close to edible (is that even real chicken in their nuggets anymore? Or lab grown meat?) but there are lines around the block for Chick-Fil-A in Texas. THANK YOU Madisonville for keeping one of the only edible fast food places that actually know how to season their food with something other than just 50 tons of hot peppers alive in Texas.

I like the location because it’s conveniently along Interstate 45 service roads and within the Shell gas station.

The service was good, but it lacked a welcoming and friendly atmosphere from staff.

The food is good, still hot, and had a reasonable price.

Inside cleanliness is fair, but there’s not that many dining space tables for a company of more than 2 people or groups.

Only thing they didn’t screw up was handing me the drink. 20 minutes for a 3 piece meal because they forgot about it or something. Chicken was watery and gross, frys sucked.

The Service was great! But the food was not completely fresh. And they were out of 2 of the 3 things I was trying to order.

They Need to rethink the containers for the flavored wing sauce, that they pour over the boneless chicken wings. All the sticky sauce spilled out of the Styro containers.

Church’s Chicken – Improving, But Still Needs Work

Church’s Chicken has been a bit of a hit or miss, but I think they’ve finally switched up the cooks, and the food has been more consistent lately. Definitely a step in the right direction!

One thing that still needs improvement is the wait times—they can be a little long, especially when it’s busy. A bit more efficiency in the kitchen would go a long way.

The staff could also use a little more energy and customer service training. They take orders, but there’s not much interaction beyond that. That’s not entirely on them—the owners should be stepping up to create a better customer experience.

Overall, it’s getting better, but with some improvements in speed and service.

Not a bad Church’s Chicken. They are located at a Shell gas station. I didn’t want to deal with the Buc-ee’s crowds, which is why I stopped here instead. I ended up getting the chicken sandwich, which is better than Chick-Fil-A (thicker chicken pattie).
