Food was delicious. Staff not so great. If you still have an hour until close you need to focus more on customer service and less on closing tasks. Had to ask for items multiple times because employees kept forgetting. They were too busy worrying about closing.

Would love to eat at Rick’s more but if you’re going to charge pretty much a dollar for every sauce that people ask for then maybe make sure that you actually put the sauces that you made them pay extra for in the bag the last six times we have ate there in the past 6 months to a year every single time will get family meals usually like just go through and get barbecue for dinner and I always pay anywhere from 6:00 to $10 extra for sauces cuz I have kids that all like different things and majority of the time there will be absolutely no sauces in the bag whatsoever and that’s fun when you drive 20 minutes home which is how far we live from there and you go to eat barbecue and I’ll just say it Rick’s BBQ is extremely dry you need sauce but you get all the way home and you’re feeding a family of six and there are not one sauce in your bag or like this last time all I asked for and paid extra for was mild and white sauce mostly mild I got like four extra miles and two extra white sauce we get all the way home and there is some weird sauce that’s called a number that we’ve never heard of that we didn’t ask for and five Rick sauces that we’ve never had didn’t ask for so again a large family pack of barbecue and a $13 thing of chicken so that there’s a choice between pork or chicken for everybody get all the way home with all that food and again no barbecue sauce we got sauce just absolutely no barbecue sauce not what we paid for and they get annoyed if you ask and this last time I specifically asked before I left with the food you did put all of the sauces in there and she said yeah and she’s like you can feel them here in the bag and I could I could feel them in the bag but none of them were any of the sauces any of us asked for or paid for

I called up there 10 minutes before arrival asking if they had baked potatoes and the lady said they did. When i got there i tried ordering one and they said they didn’t have any potatoes. This pissed me off because i am pregnant and this is the only thing i was craving. I drove 30 minutes to get a potato which they told me they had and i show up and apparently they are out. They need to hire more than just teenagers who just don’t want to cook a damn potato.

I’ve ate at quite a few BBQ restaurants in my life, but Rick’s by far is the most disappointing. Depending on the day, the BBQ is either completely bland and tasteless, or so over smoked and over seasoned that it’ll make you sick to your stomach! The chicken strips are no larger than the french fries that they are served with, and they’re so dry it’s like eating chicken jerky. And also ridiculously overpriced! The baked potatoes are barely larger than a baseball and are likewise way overpriced. All the portions are extremely small and not worth what you pay for them! The staff is primarily high school kids that have no idea what customer service is. I honestly have no idea how the Fayetteville TN location stays in business…

This BBQ place is just ok, the staff was super friendly, the place was clean however the green beans were awful, the sauce they give you in the cup isn’t very good alone but works well when you put it on your sandwich. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty darn good though. I’ll probably not go here again as I had just ok food last time I went as well. Spent $11 on a single person. Thanks and have a great day!

Rick’s has been a pleasant experience thus far, polite staff, nice environment, and decent value for your quality of food. It’s good bbq option in a family oriented environment. It suffers from typical new restaurant problems, but all in all a good fast food experience.

I have been to Rick’s barbecue in Murfreesboro, Tn, numerous times. I have no complaints. I love that location!! The fayetteville location always pulls me up, and I have to wait to receive my food. Many times, my order has not been correct, and I am usually missing something I ordered. Their food is a hit or miss. My hotdog was a shriveled up mess. Barely had anything on it. I’m very disappointed in this location.

This is what came in my 5 year old grandson’s kid’s meal! Even if the limit is 2 tenders, they can at least be bigger. The picture looks bigger than they actually are! He’s not a big kid but he has a great appetite. This is ridiculous! This is the 2nd time it’s happened so I felt compelled to voice my frustration. Do better!
