I ordered from doordash.. ordered honey chilli cauliflower and Manchurian.. Manchurian was so spicy and so oily and it was also burnt taste so bad .. honey chilli cauliflower was also super spicy for no reason and very hard and it was very less quantity like just 6-7 peices for $16…

manchurian tasted like some sabzi no gravy at all dry manchurian dosent mean its totaly dry.

We visited The Grand Mehfil for dinner on a Saturday evening, and the experience came as a complete shock. We have dined here several times in the past, and the food and service were always exceptional. In fact, it used to be so busy on Saturday nights that reservations were necessary. This time, however, the restaurant was almost empty at 6:00 p.m., with only one other guest dining.

After being seated, we waited for menus but no one approached us. All the servers were standing near the drinks bar talking, and I had to get their attention to ask for menus. There appeared to be new staff in training. While our main server, Kiran, was friendly and polite, and another new staff member who brought our food was calm and respectful, one staff member who seemed to be acting as a manager had an unwelcoming attitude throughout the visit.

Unfortunately, the food quality has declined drastically. We ordered sarson da saag and malai kofta, both of which were bland and lacked the depth of flavor we had always enjoyed here before. The koftas were soft but missing the rich curry flavor, and the saag was mediocre. The gulab jamun tasted frozen and microwaved. When we asked for makki di roti and later roomali roti, we were simply told “no,” with no explanation, despite these items being listed on the menu. We also received plain naan instead of butter naan, and when questioned, the (acting manager) staff member insisted it was butter naan despite there being no butter on it.

We were given complimentary rice, which was good, but it didn’t make up for the overall experience. When I asked if management had changed, our server confirmed that the owners had separated and there was a complete staff overhaul. This unfortunately explains the sharp decline in quality. Prices have increased, but the taste and service no longer justify them.

Based on this visit, we will not be returning for dine-in or takeout.

We had a great time at the Geand Mehfil. There was a lot of tempting choices on the menu. We opted for a soup, then shared vegan appetizers and main courses. Everything was delicious. The decor was elegant, and the dining room was not too crowded. Service wes friendly and competent. There was a minor hiccup with our order, but Aman managed everything professionally. Will repeat.

Visited The Grand Mehfil in Kitchener for the first time, and it truly lived up to its name! The ambiance was elegant, the food was absolutely delicious, and the décor was stunning. What made the experience even more special was the impeccable service, as every staff member was courteous and attentive. A special thanks to Priyanka for her warm hospitality. Overall, it was an exceptional experience, and I can’t wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful experience at The Grand Mehfil! The food was delicious – especially the Handi Goat Curry (medium spice) which was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The Goan Curry was a bit less impressive compared to expectations, but overall the dishes were enjoyable.

A special mention to Avneet and Vanshika – the way they greeted us and served the food was simply amazing. Their warm and friendly gesture really made the dining experience memorable.

Definitely planning to come back soon to try more dishes!

We ordered noodle spring roll, cheese corn roll which were not eatable texture was hard like rock and then we also ordered main course items like their special Murg chicken turned out to be bitter with rice and burnt butter naan. We had an horrible experience with their food. We spent a total of $70 and did garbage.

We recently had a small party at Grand Mehfil, and we really had a great experience. We were around 20 people, and they accommodated us very well. The food was amazing, and the service was really good. Priyanka from the staff helped us a lot to pick our menu, made sure everything fit our budget, and served us really well.
