It was my daughter’s first time at a Japanese Steakhouse and Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse did not disappoint.
Chef Layton was hilarious, entertaining, and excellent at cooking Hibachi-style food.
Our Hibachi Chicken and Steak entrees were delicious. And their “Yummy Sauce” which you could use to dip ANYTHING — from the veggies to the chicken to the steak — was scrumptious.
The lighting needs to be brighter. The dim lights give a low energy vibe. This is why I gave the Food 5-stars, the Service 5-stars, but the Atmosphere 3-stars.

We had to wait 1 hr. And had made a reservation. Bathrooms disgusting, bar was a mess. Had a reservation for 6:30 PM and we didn’t get out of there till 915. If you go to this restaurant plan for time wear gloves and a mask it’s disgusting. The food turned out good the chefs are fun, but the owner seems a little bit neurotic.

This is a great local place for hibachi. The food is good the cooks are very good at what they do. The servers leave a little bit more to be desired depending on who you get. And one recommendation would be to clean up all the boxes and open the bar back up again or at least make it decent. It’s an average looking restaurant. it just needs to be spruced up with some paint and decorations and better lighting. Also picking up all the boxes and stuff stacked in full View in the back section. I’m surprised the owner isn’t self-aware on this although he’s a good guy. Also it’s important to mention that they charge an automatic 20% gratuity so you can go in knowing that and not get mad later on

Absolutely delicious. The service was a bit slow, but outstanding steak. I included a picture of the actual cow that was used to make this fine steak. I’ve also added a picture of my cat, who clearly has a drinking problem.

Please don’t go to this please they are big Rip off. Very bad service and they charge Gratuity accordingly to them. We paid $32 top of the bill.and gratuity is not a law or any tax all the restaurants are forcing us to pay that much tip. Prices are high and crew was not friendly. When I asked the owner about the gratuity he got aggressive & loud with me. So, please don’t waste your money and time better find another good restaurant. I didn’t have a choice but I want save you to waste your money here on bad service and bad food. I wish they would have stars in negative. I don’t have a choice otherwise don’t even deserve a single star..

This was the worst hibachi place I have ever been too. Never seen potatoes in the veggies before, and the lack of seasoning used was surprising. Steak was so tasteless I couldnt eat it. Even the yum yum sauce was lack luster and slimy. Chef was mediocre at entertaining, but then again we were there at closing so he was probably just worn out. Also, despite my repeated no’s about water, he still brought me one, which only annoyed me because I kept clearly saying no water and he didn’t listen.
