Ate my food too fast to leave a photo with this review! Honestly, one of the best balanced hot chicken sandwiches I’ve had in quite some time. The generous portion of chicken was seasoned perfectly from first to last bite. The waffle fries and Hangry Joe sauce were worth a visit in and of themselves. Highly recommend let’s keep this place thriving in Hermitage!

I tried this the other day and really enjoyed it. I don’t like spicy food so just got mild breaded wings, waffle fries and the waffles. The mild wings were seasoned and breaded so nicely. The wings sizes were great too, I got the 6 count and I was already full on #4 lol My favorite part of this meal was the waffles with powdered sugar!! Oh my goodness what a treat. Check this place out for sure. My hubby did also mention they are very nice here as well. Thank you.

Tried this for lunch today and they did not disappoint! We were greeted as we walked in and I immediately noticed how clean and organized the restaurant looked. They have a kiosk for ordering and it was easy to use. I ordered the hottest option for the chicken fingers and it was definitely spicy to my liking. The flavor of the chicken was also impressive. The waffle fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. We will be back for sure!

The chicken bites i had were seasoned with medium rub and I had a side of buffalo, and ranch dips.just the right amount of heat! The waffle fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. They gave us a taste of the fried okra and they were good, especially since we are not okra eaters. The funnel cake sticks were perfect!! We will come back again!!

First off, the staff is incredibly pleasant. The owner came out and she was incredibly sweet. The food came out good and hot! The flavor was outstanding and I ordered “The Sando” in Hot and it did not disappoint. It had my eyes and nose watering, but the flavor was really good! I am pretty tolerant of hot food, but I’ll probably order Medium next time. Great spot for when you’re craving something spicy!

The restaurant was very clean, the staff was very pleasant but the food fell very short of good! I read the reviews before going there since we’re not from the area and I can honestly say that I was really disappointed. For what we paid ($53 plus dollars) I expected my food to be hot and tasty which neither was the case. I forced myself to eat 4 wing dings because I had not eaten in approximately 24 hours and I just couldn’t eat any more. We could taste that the chicken had been previously particularly cooked a long time prior to our order.
In simple terms, I would not recommend this establishment. I question if the reviews were fine in house. It could not have fallen off the grid so quickly after opening for business! Out of a shared 10 piece between a husband and wife, 3 pieces were thrown in the trash.

This is the best chicken Sandwich. You guys have to come meet the staff and enjoy the environment. The chicken Sando is absolutely amazing. It is the perfect blend of spice and incredible flavor. The wings were really good too this is a hidden gem right here in Hermitage.

Our first time at Hangry Joe’s and I have to say, we will be back! This place is great. The staff are very friendly, even at 10:30pm. The food is perfect portions for the money. I dont eat spicy food and the guys were so cool about not giving me spicy food whereas my boyfriend eats spicy. It was great! All around good time! Thanks guys!
