We were just passing through and oh my god was it worth it. We got all that food for ~$26, it came out quick, ingredients were fresh, chicken was tender, the sauces and spice levels were amazing, and the servings are huge. Feeding 2 people 3 times for $26, in this economy, honestly blew me away.

We moved here not to long ago. Was looking for Cashew Chicken. First of all I ordered cashew chicken Iv never seen it look like such but even this had no cashews. I asked for fried rice, got white. The ragoons were so hard u couldn’t eat them,the egg rolls were doughy still. The gravy for the “cashew chicken was very light colored with no flavor. Not to mention I opened the bag the gravey container had melted and gravey went everywhere. I typically don’t leave a review however this was just plain gross.

I’ve picked up at the drive-thru here 3 times in the past two months. I’ve ordered the Eggplant with Shrimp, Moo Goo Gai Pan with Chicken, and the Black Bean Sauce Combination. All three times, the food has been delicious and served with tons of veggies and rice – enough for two meals for me! I’ve also had their Egg Drop soup and Sweet & Sour Soup; both were excellent. The service is so friendly, the food is piping hot to order, and their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend.

i would have given this place a zero star, but out of generosity i gave it one.
we ordered fried dumplings, and they were given to us way under cooked. dough was still raw and the meat mixture was raw and pink on the inside, tasted like wet dog and literally raw meat. we also order pepper chicken, wasn’t what we except that was okay, however, the chicken was way over cooked an hard a a rock! will never recommend this place or go there ever again!

I wrote a review when the new owners took over a couple of years ago when the food quality and taste had suffered. I’ve eaten the buffet recently now several times this summer and fall and the food is much better again.
The egg rolls are really good again with much flavor. The hot and sour soup is good again with the best broth anywhere. The house chicken is so good and had just the right seasonings. The crab rangoons are crisply, crunchy with just enough cream cheese. The green beans and chicken are really flavorful. The combination fried rice is the best anywhere and no other place in town has meat in their fried rice. It’s all really good again.

China Palace is our favorite Chinese in Cape Girardeau. We drive from Jackson to get their food. It used to be no issues, now EVERY TIME we go there, something is missing from our order. Then we drive from Jackson to Cape a 2nd time and they say they are “sorry”. Today it happened for the 4th time. I checked the bag as well as I can with multiple orders all stacked on each other. We got home and missing items. I call them and say this has happened enough and instead of a “sorry” I want to talk to manager about a refund. Apparently the manager is on duty from 11:00-1:00 on Thursday. That’s it. No one there has the authority to give us a refund or anything other than a “sorry”, while in the meantime we have to drive back to Cape.
Unfortunately, we are going to have to find another Chinese place as this is just poor customer service.

This place is a favorite of my brothers since his college hey day. We are both now in our 40s and he was in town so the whole family met up and had a wonderful lunch thanks to the China Palace crew! The food and service was great, tolerating the loud lot of us ha ha. Will be back!!

Place was disgusting i ordered the mongolian beef with noodles and i never selected the veggies, which came with it and it had so much veggies, i only got 6 bites out of it. The bubble tea is nasty, the women put the straw in my cup which is nasty why didnt you give me a straw with a wrapper and let me put my own straw in.

Food was absolutely gross wouldn’t recommend to any one. Ordered several meals, the one was suppose to be a vegetable rice hardly any veggies lots of chicken in it. They all tasted like the burnt styrofoam they were put into some. Ordered some red bean balls I’ve never had a more nasty tasting and over fried ball. The red bean balls are a favorite of our families to have at other places tasted like bad oil and were overbooked. Had some egg drop soup it tasted like store bought packet made soup. We were going to eat here before but the owner lady or someone was very rude to our children. So tried it once more but carry out, this was a big mistake YUCK!! Please save your money I don’t know how these people are in business even.
