Dog friendly with much appreciated AC for our Frenchie Selena! Friendly bartender who made delicious and refreshing Moscow Mules- my husband rated the Abita Turbodog beer with chill vibes during our mid week/mid day visit. Highly recommended for dogs –

This is such a breath of fresh air of a place in Helen. It feels like every other place is just a slight offshoot of the same thing with almost all the same beers. This place offers 24 different beers/drinks on tap. They even have boozy slushies.
I don’t remember the individual price of the beers but to me the best option is just getting the 4 or 6 beer flight. It’s nice to try a variety of drinks. The 2 wine cocktails of the 6 beers I got the first weekend of August(they update every so often) were absolutely amazing!
It’s a decent sized interior for the area offering ample seating both inside and outside in the alley way.
In the alleyway, they even seem to occasionally have live music that you can enjoy out there. It’s nice to have a drink outside but you’re not allowed to take the drinks with you outside the alleyway or out the front door as it’s against the law in Helen.
Overall, I’m so happy Helen has this kind of place. If you like to try a variety of drinks hit them up. Heck even if you find just one beer you like, just visit this place and make sure it stays around. Even despite no food, Ill let it pass cuz the price is really reasonable and drinks are good. Plus, the staff when I was there was awesome and was great to talk with. Can’t wait to give them another try next time I’m back in Helen

Great beer. I had Terminus, which is the dark beer, and my husband had the Koastal Krush Mimosa. Both were equally delicious. I’m happy we are only about 1.5 hours from here so we can frequent this spot. I’m hoping to find both beers locally in store.

This snug but modern establishment was a great place to stop for drinks. They had a large selection of local and regional beverages to select from. The liquor is currently being incorporated to the menu and is somewhat new. The interior has several tvs, but they all had on the same program. I’m sure if you asked, they would change it to whatever sports event or show of your choosing. The staff was great- very friendly and informative. Inside near the steps, there was a shelf that had several card games to choose from. It made for a much more enjoyable rime to be able to have a couple drinks while enjoying being able to play cards. We sat outside because the weather was perfect. There is a small alley that is light up with string lights with bulbs that hang overhead. Overall, it was a great place to enjoy drinks and relax a little while ‘bar hopping’

Even though I am not a local I was treated like so. Warm friendly service. If you want to tie one on after the sidewalks get rolled up in Helen then the Chatt. Street Tap room is your place to go. Lexi is hands down one of the best bar keeps this side of the Pecos.

Great selection of craft beers in this taproom. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great suggestions by bartender, too. Dog-friendly and good music rounds out the experience. Nearby eatery to grab a bite to go with your beer or wine slushie.

A great beer selection of local craft beers. A really nice change for the area which serves a lot of the national standards and a few international beers. Happy to see this place and will make it a regular stop in Helen. Support the local craft beer breweries and stop in to find your new favorite beer.
