Welcome to the 1950’s Drive In..This Bagels & Grill spot has it all. If you are looking for a nice spot to have a good good on a budget, look no further. I had breakfast with my daughter. We received a complimentary orange juice with all combos. The place is very clean and very inviting. The staff is amazing. Marisa, was so helpful with ordering. She is very socialable and knowledgeable. The entire staff made you feel like you were in their home. It was a beautiful dining experience..

First time here with my husband and I was impressed. The vibe is very retro, the staff was amazing and sweet. We ordered a #8 and a breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious! What captured my heart the most was the gentleman at the register who was taking a payment from a customer who was short on some change and he just said “Don’t worry, next time”. Granted it was change but it was refreshing to witness this exchange. We will be back!! Thank you Cella staff for an amazing experience and for being kind, the world needs more of this.

Absolutely a gem of a spot!
I finally went to Cella Bagels and Grills in Selden, and I’m so glad I did. They make their bagels in-house, and when I ordered an everything bagel, they told me it would take about 10 minutes because they were making it fresh in the back. Totally worth the wait! When the bagel came out and I took a bite, it was one of the best bites I’ve ever had—everything was perfect.
The staff here are super nice and friendly, and they have a coffee station, which is a great touch. The tables are cleaned frequently, and the ambience has a nostalgic 70s-80s vibe, which adds to the charm. This place has officially become my new favorite spot in the area. Highly recommend!

AMAZING breakfast food. The two sisters who are always on the grill do an amazing job and never mail it in. I have breakfast here at least once a week. These are some of the most hard hard working, dedicated, loyal staff I have seen over the years. If you are in the Middle Country Selden Centereach area please go get yourself a BEC. Growing up as a Jew in NYC, bagels were always an important mainstay for our weekend breakfasts. And, because I am also a “foodie” (which makes me know the good stuff & makes my family reticent to dine out with me ), I must say that CELLA BAGELS in Selden, NY is the only place I frequent to buy bagels. The bagels have the perfect density and crispiness of those great ones I remember from The Lower East Side (in Manhattan). The taste is always a joy to the palate. If I’m having company, I’ll typically go to specialty markets that sell an array of smoked fish, but for bagels, there’s only CELLA. I typically buy one to two dozen (of mixed varieties) eat a few and slice the remaining bagels in half and freeze them.
I just decided to make a dairy meal for dinner (including various salads); but realized it wouldn’t work without good bagels. My kind husband just volunteered to make the trek (30 minutes) down to Selden (probably because he loves the bagels and sometimes me ). And finally, if you ever get there and any of the bagels are just coming out of the oven, grab one for immediate consumption. They’re heaven.
{BTW – I don’t know anyone who owns or works there, I am writing this merely to share my experience.}

When we visit my sister in Long Island, we always get lunch here on our first day, breakfast our second day and bagels for our trip home the day before we leave. Their bagels are consistently wonderful, and my husband loves their mac salad. The employees are friendly and often remember us. The general atmosphere is pleasant and the walls are adorned with various memorabilia. There’s plenty of parking and ramps for wheel chairs. They have cold drinks, fruit cups, big bagels, various cream cheeses, and salads. Their bagel sandwichs are amazing and I love that the meats are thin cut. The staff is always polite. Occasionally when they miscount the bagels for your order they don’t give you a hard time. A smile and a bag with the missing bagel is handed to you without question.
