I’m going to start off with the butterscotch malt I had that would’ve been approved by my mom as it was a tribute to her. If you’re looking for portion sized meals, you definitely have found your spot to dine. I may be wrong but the gravy seems homemade as I dipped my fries in it after scraping some of it off my chicken fried steak. I finally decided to stop in after passing by for 17 years and I’ll be back for the catfish and the patty melt I’m curious about devouring. The decor is from an era that a lot of people under 40 missed out on growing up but the atmosphere is still the laid back southern politeness I remember watching on tv or experiencing, which makes it a worthwhile destination stop either on your way to or coming from Eureka or Branson.

Stopped in to grab some lunch and it was great. We got the chicken fried steak (frozen kind) mashed potatoes, corn with a side salad. For 2 plates it was around $20, pretty good value for your money. We will be back to try a burger, which has gotten amazing reviews.

Place has gone downhill. Burgers are mediocre now, tastes like they are pre cooked. The typical know it all high school girl was extremely rude and acted like I was an inconvenience to her.
Also, NEVER TIP because your order is NEVER right. Here I am again giving them another chance and ordered a double, got a single. They never brought my milkshake. I guess I’m not important, yet again.

Staci made breakfast even better with her beautiful smile and welcoming way she patiently waited for me to make my decision and even suggested some of the most popular items. The food was amazing as expected; hot and cooked to perfection. You can definitely tell Candi knows how to treat people by how happy and peaceful the team was.
