I can only comment on the Apple turnovers. Seems minuscule. Even goes unnoticed. But it’s in the small details that create a reputation. I have come here solely for the apple turnovers. The parking and location is the worst. But I’ll tolerate it if it’s means Im leaving with one of these fresh pillowy soft sweet apple pouches of pure happiness and love. Too delicious to last long enough for photo.

I was here when they opened to pick up a dozen bagels. Everything was warm and fresh. The bagels were delicious and very generously sized. Very easy to get to and a convenient place to pick up kosher bagels on the way to the Rockaways or Atlantic Beach!

I ordered a bagel toasted with cream cheese. The actual bagel was good. But I noticed something was weird with the cream cheese. At first I thought maybe it was spoiled, then realized it seemed like they put butter and cream cheese on my bagel because not only was it funky tasting, it was dripping oil and the bagel was covered with grease as would be expected from a toasted butter bagel. I went back and asked and told them it tasted weird. The workers making the bagels continuously told me I was wrong and it was because I had it toasted (ive had many toasted bagels, I know the cream cheese gets soft but this was not edible, it tasted weird) and they did not offer or try to resolve the issue. I would’ve been very happy with a resolution because everyone makes mistakes instead I got a bagel so bad it went in the garbage. Kind of disappointed.

I am a regular customer of Giant Bagel and I absolutely love their pizza, especially the BBQ Onion Slice. The crust is crispy and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. I’ve been at minimum 5 times and love they are consistent with the menu item tastes. Changes in preparation are introduced as specials. However they have a good selection of specialty pizza and a variety of bagels and variations. Toppings, smears, and condiments can be added to anything you order for a small fee. The salad options are pretty standard but perfect for my preferences. The pizza is tasty and filling. Ultimately I tried all my usual food and was a happy satisfied consumer each time.

My place to go when I’m around JFK airport, best place to grab a bite, pizza or breakfast sandwich, coffee, juice or soda they also offer salads, pizza is really good, generous pizza slices with plenty of toppings to choose from, hopefully I’ll see my avocado pizza suggestion, don’t hate it till you try it, bagels are really huge, good assortment and fresh.
Last time I tried the nova lux bagel on onion bagel, weighted a ton !!! Toasted with lots of cream cheese, lettuce tomatoes, onions but on a personal note I’ll hold the onions next time.
